    It took me a few days to post this brag, because I'm still in shock. For Mother's Day, DH took me to the jewellery store to pick out a family ring. I have been wanting one for a long time. I picked out a nice one and DH also bought me a necklace.
    There was a Mother's Day draw at the jewellery store and I wasn't going to bother entering because I never win. DH encouraged me to enter, however, so I did.
    Well, I got the shock of a lifetime, when the store called and told me I had won 1st prize. It was a diamond and ruby necklace, worth $750.
    It's so beautiful. I am now never going to pass up an opportunity to enter a draw ever again.
