I've been using $2 then $1 Protinis coupons. Wholesale club has them for $2.29. It's an in-store special; talking to the cashier she said they often get items they don't regularly sell but are overstock so they sell it at a clearance price if there is a short expiry (overstock from other Loblaws stores). So I also got cheap bacon and feta cheese

Today, No Frills still had lots of 500mL tubs of Breyers ice cream for $ .97 each so I bought 10 with the $1.00 coupons = FREE!
At RCSS, I price-matched Nestle 1.5L tubs of ice cream for $3.99 each (FreshCo), plus used $2.50 coupons (from Hallowe'en box) each AND had a personal PC Plus points offer for $1,000 points each. Since 1,000 points = $1.00 value, each Nestle 1.5L tub cost me 49 cents out of pocket!
10 x 500mL Breyers ice cream + 5 x 1.5L Nestle ice cream = a total of $2.45 out of pocket!
Bring on the warm weather!

Did they reject the coupon because the amount was over the selling price? I wish all stores and staff were consistent with the acceptance of coupons...one day
