Hi, everyone!

Our amazing son took our van to his shop yesterday - there's been some trouble, tranny fluid leaking. So very grateful it wasn't anything serious such as needing a new one.

He did some mechanic magic and discovered it was a seal, but will be a whole crapload of work to get to it - apparently front wheel drive is the worst because the tranny needs to be taken out from the bottom. So next week he'll do it, with the help of a friend who also works there - we are just so very humbled because this is the same friend of his who helped us move last fall when we were so in need. If we had to pay for shop the labour for this, it would be dreadfully expensive. It will be enough that we will have to pay for parts. And while he's got the tranny out, he'll see if any other parts needs replacing.

Oh, the joys of vehicle ownership, gah!

Just got back from sears where aunt bought me 2 pairs of shoes. One pair arnold palmer slip on brown and 1 pair nike shoes. Always grateful for everything she does for sure. She said here you go early birthday gift(my birthdays in may lol) She said of course by then I will forget and still get you something lol.

Sure beats the walmart shoes I was wearing.

Feeling sickie today - nothing serious, but a general malaise, and somewhat discombobulated...

Maybe it's just being a bit fluey... have had a bit of a tummy bug for a few days, but again nothing serious. Just outta sorts. Ick.

This needs to be gone soon - have a big supper to make, son is coming over, and I want to be feeling good for our visit!

Last cool day here before it heads into around 30 for the rest of the week.

My husband is off work today, his company's extra day off per year is for Orangeman's Day.

Had a great evening yesterday with our son, he's just such a hunnybunny!

Start my new job tuesday at 8am. Couple days training this week plus couple days next week. After that will do mostly nights with a few day shifts. At esso on the go. Can breathe after just quiting my job almost 2 weeks ago. I usually land on my feet when I do that but can be nerve wracking lol.
