Not sure if this is the right place to post? So I finally decided to go get my g1 test done and when I went, I failed the vision test. couldn't read the darn thing. my eyes were blurry and kind of feel like burning couldn't see anything. So I was told to go see an eye doctor. made some calls and seems like just the eye exam cost 95.00, the lens/medicine 100.00 then the glasses I want is around 250.00 so all together close to 500.00. Now I am soo scared that after I paid this amount, I will fail the vision test again and all that $$$ will be wasted. The glasses will be only use for driving which is totally perfect. Has anyone failed the vsion test more than once and whats was the next step?

Once you go to an optometrist, get your eyes tested, and get corrective lenses, you will be able to pass the vision test.

Nat is right, the lenses will correct your vision, thus making it impossible for you to fail the test....that is unless you close your eyes, LOL

    Hope everything turned out ok.

My dad is a senior citizen and he failed the eye test at the MTO-- not because he couldn't see but because he was a little confused about what he was supposed to be doing. The MTO let him re-take the vision test and with a little guidance, he was able to do it.

Not that you're a senior (obviously) but MTO did allow a re-take and he didn't have to do anything for it other than show up and explain the situation.

Still, your eyes are important. Get the care and the glasses you need and trust me, it won't be a problem to pass the vision test after taking care of that.

And themoney is never a waste when you invest in yourself. You only get one pair of eyes hun; might as well take care of them!!!
