evening Q sters,
what an awesome day out. the laundry was drying & Rodent & i were out demoing the deck. i was surprised that she wanted to help, but i wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. i had her stack all the boards behind the shed as i was sledge hammering them off. Paul LeFrance would be proud, although, i'm sure he's have something to say about the way it was built.(it was already there when i bought the place 17 years ago) Rodent manged 3 hours of helping out before she was done, but she done good. i stayed another 3 hours & almost got it all apart, except for the frame work. A nice hot shower afterwards felt so good & a couple of Advil. BBQed salmon & corn for dinner tonight & now just catching up with everyone. back to work tomorrow.

Thank you all very much for all of the well wishes for my son's wedding. The day was absolutely perfect in every way. I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over again. Mother Nature cooperated and the weather was amazing. The rain had cleared up in the morning and the sun came out and dried the grass by the time the wedding started. The food and beverage manager at the golf course made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening and the food was amazing!! The DJ played a great variety of old and new music and there were people on the dance floor the whole night!!

I still can't believe that the day is over and my son is married!!

Good evening, everyone.

I'm back downtown, gotta stay close to the hospital. Brats are well fed (as am I) - had a little too much of my Mom's yummy homemade cooking.

Gonna take it easy tonight, just flake out in front of the TV with whomever decides to join me (Lily dog is at the window spying on the neighbours and Quincy cat is wandering around making sure nothing is out of place - never know when a burglar will break in and move his box a millimetre ).
