go fishing on a secluded lake in northern Ontario. no phones, no computers, no cars just peace and quiet.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Spend a year in the South Pacific. Tahiti, Cook Islands, Moorea etc. Relaxing on the beaches, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking etc. Enjoying the serenity, peace, and beautiful landscape.

If money was no object, you mean? In my younger days, I would have said travelled. Now that I'm getting closer to retirement, I'm realising it's not that much of a priority anymore.

for one full year, it would have to be volunteer work
volunteer work such as helping at food banks when they are not enough people, helping at local schools when teachers are swamped, helping at Salvation Army, visiting seniors at nursing homes who don't get much visitors on special holidays and events and such;
volunteer to help young inmates with their schools work -- the ones at youth detention centers get high school courses and can finish their high school diploma equivalent if they want
maybe boring to some, but have always wanted to do this kind of stuff

I'd love to travel. A backpack, camera and toothbrush and I would be on my way. I'd start by crossing the Atlantic and work my way back around to the Pacific.... Dare to dream

TRAVEL!
Inca trail to Macchu Picchu (although been there already, never had the chance to do the trail), climb Mount Kilimanjaro and Everest, Alaska cruise, Disney cruise for my kids, See all the wonders of the world, live on a private island for a few days, our accommodation would range from 5 star hotels to a tree house or tents, means of transportation would be from range helicopter, private jet to tuk tuk and by foot, we would eat in the finest restaurants and try local street foods.
I just need to win the lotto 649 lol!

Buy a big BIG sailboat, pull the kids out of school and sail the world. There's SO much I want to see and do that I'm not sure one year would be enough. (lol)

Money is no object in this? Okay here is what I would do:
1. No matter the cost, get the BEST seat in the house to see Taylor Swift in concert at every North American concert I could!
2. Play absolutely nuts in a casino one night, tip the dealers a $100 if I win $5, tip the server a hundred bucks so I get a Coke just by waving (or just delivered for the fun of it!)
3. Get myself a lovely bride and blow the wad on the ultimate wedding, Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen play the reception.
4. Seasons tickets, row 1 at the Blue Jays.
That is a busy year I would think! Am I asking for too much? I did't think so either!Insurance Graduate Class of 2014
I need coupons big time!
What do you do with a elephant that has three balls? Walk him and pitch to the Rhino!
