Free X 9 (almost) at Food Basics

FB has 100 ml Colgate or Crest Toothpaste on for .99.

I had a bunch of Crest coupons - $2 wub 2, $4 wub 3 and a bunch of other ones which specified that it didn't apply to the particular type that was on sale. (poopy!)

So I got 5 for free - they reduced the value of the coupon to match the price.

Then I spied Old Spice Deodorant (unadvertised sale) 50% off which made it $1.49. I remembered the P&G flyer had some Old Spice coups. There was a $2.50 off when you buy ANY Old Spice blah, blah, blah which applied to deodorant. So there I was cutting the coupon out in the store. I had already cut out another.

So I got 4 Old Spice Deodorant 4X $1.49= 5.96 - (2X $2.50) = .96 for 4 or about .25 each!! I couldn't believe it! Deodorant has become so expensive. I used to get it regularly with coupon use for about .50 but not any more - so this was a real treat. My db and his family only use deodorant so I have "stocking stuffers" or "Valentine's" gifts (They are actually in a red container.)

I also got 2 Villagio loaves at $1.99 each = 3.98 - $1 off wub 2 - so 2.98 or $1.49 each. (Thanks to my Valentine's Card Exchange partner Ladybug2011 - I TOLD you I would use them!)

Then at RCSS where I TRIED to pm these things but got totally frustrated They had EVERY size of toothpaste under the sun except 100ml which was specified in the flyer- but I DID get:
on the Clearance Rack - A Baby Monitor - on sale for $24.65 with an extra 30% off. (No, I'm NOT! pregnant but I know someone who IS)
Also a Sunmaid Raisin Cinnamon loaf on clearance for 30% off and then an extra .50 off.
Also NN applesauce on sale for $1.99 (I think) for which I should have received PC points, but I didn't, - I'll have to check with Customer Service.

So, I'm a happy camper. The toothpaste will go to outreach at our church.
