    Seems to by my week for great deals! I was in Freshco today and noticed other shopper's had picked up a lot of chicken, so I went to check. Hooray for unadvertised sales on meat...chicken thighs and drumsticks at $0.99/lb! Grabbed 8 packages, each ranging from $2.75 - $3.93...and right into the freshly cleaned deep freezer they went!

    Short trip, sweet deals, lots of great meals ahead!

    agh!! Wonder if any will be in the bunkers tomorrow?? That is a great deal! Nice that the meat has a freshly cleaned home ( your freezer....ha ha ) to go into.

    Wtg, nice, was it maple leaf prime or the no name.... I got a slow cooker in December and just discovered drumsticks are good after 4 hours in the crock, never made so tender chicken before...

    i have a crock pot myself thanks for the tip never bought drug sticks because i didn't really know how to handle/cook them now I do and a fast and easy way to boot do you add any water in the bottom?
