Good Evening everyone,
I'm so excited the Easter Bunny passes tonight
We went to the re-use it centre today as it's closed tomorrow and I had a start themoment
and I looked like this
. I got 5 grocery bags and I mean full of all name brand clothing Columbia, Reebok, LL Bean, MEC, BARE, and on and on.....
I got Jaden a Columbia brown canvas coat that fits, Reebok splash type pants and on and on....
I swear if I had bought this stuff brand new I would have literally paid thousands of dollars as each piece would be like $50 or more each.....so I'm super pleased we decided to venture out to my favourite place to shop.
I also got a really nicely framed oil painting not overly large but it's signed (can't read or make out the signature) but it's number and the frame has a serial # so I will do a google just out of curiousity
.
DH got a stainless steel 3 level shelve for our bathroom, unfortunately he took down our candle holder that was in the bathroom and it left marks so dh said he will paint the wall and then put up the new shelves.
Dh also got a super large wall clock that's really nice, we may but downstairs as there is only a tiny clock that I never think to look at.
So you get the picture, I really wish all communities had a re-use it centre like ours where everything is absolutely free.
I didn't bake todayso I guess that will be my morning chore, I'm sure Logan will help me out as he likes to bake & cook which is great.
Well wishing everyone a spectacular Easter.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Took back the top mom bought me to Thyme and got shorts...had to pay an extra $10! Top looked horrid on, needed shorts. I would never pay $45 for a pair of shorts, but I figured return plus $10 isn't so bad. They did have some clearance too (no shorts though). Got two $40 tops for $7 each and $30 leggings for $10.
Two coupons for spend $100 save $50 in May. Since both my pregnancies were winter babies and this is a summer baby I will need summer wear and will go back with the coupons...now if only mom will go with me...😉

Well it's a pretty "solitary" Easter here I'm allowed to make "flying" runs out to get groceries - but no lingering in crowds. - so no church (Boo Hoo)
We've been using our dishwasher - that we never usually use - and it takes FOREVER to run through the cycle. Lots of laundry - and everything must be washed at high temps. (I can just see our utility bill for this month!)
But, nevertheless, I'm glad dh is here instead of in the hospital (where he almost ended up.)
I went out tonight to replenish our "BRAT" diet supplies -and probiotics. This bug is a lot "Smarter than the average" bug! And it likes to stick it's little slimy teeth in and hold on!
Enjoy whatever weather you're having! Give all your relatives a big hug and I hope the bunny finds you all.
And as Our minister says, "Halleluia, Christ is Risen Indeed!"Last edited by avoncallingu; Sun, Apr 5th, 2015 at 12:14 AM.

J&C - That "Re-Use-it" store sounds fantastic! Who runs it? Is it a church or another group? Our Garage Sale is coming up at the church and we basically practically "give away" things but some money does exchange hands. You really lucked out with your visit this time! But then, you always seem to get something great!

Our re-use it centre is ran by volunteers at the waste management site (the dump lol), Jaden will start volunteering there shortly as he needs 40 hours for graduation plus he can get a ride there and back with his grandpa or us.
