I think Galen hates me, but its saving me money so I am fine with it. I have totally crap offers this week so I looked back at my history. I have not earned PC Plus points since May 23. Even my shoppers offers suck. So thanks Mr. Weston for saving me money.

I looked at my receipt and saw that I am missing points. So I called customer service and got great service above and beyond normal.
I was missing 5000 BP (2x2500) on fresh meat. I was told that that offered expired yesterday and I told her it was there before I went shopping. It's not there now. She said that since I did my shopping already, she gave me 5000 as a goodwill gesture. Yay me. So the following is my shop at Loblaws.

Total points today 32400

Usually I would go on Tuesday or Wednesday for the 10% seniors discount. But based on past experience, they don't have anymore ribs at the end of the flyer sale, so went early in the week to max out on my bonuses.

Pretty much always the same offers. I'm addicted to the free from frozen angus beef burgers so I have been using my 1,000 pts per $5 spent offers.
Otherwise I don't buy much from these stores. I focus mostly on Air miles as a loyalty program and lately Safeway/Sobeys has been winning most of my business.

Oh and as for the "fresh" meat. The lowblaw's brand stores in my city offer anything BUT fresh when it comes to meat products. The beef products always seem to expire within 1-2 days and taste old. Sorry Lowblaw's I don't plan on shopping everyday when I want to eat meat. I even bought chicken wings and they were super stinky rotten days before the expiry date. They gave me a whopping $15 gift card for the $12 wasted. I pretty much completely avoid buying lowblaw's meat now.

After getting only 4 offers on my pcplus card and very stinky offers on my pcfinancial card and my hubby's pcfinancial card i applied for another pcplus card. Lol.

I know a lot of you will almost kill me for my greed but i just couldn't resist applying for another pcplus card.
You will see a difference in the number of offers. Pcfinancial cards have more offers than pcplus cards. So, in other words, they are asking you to apply for their financial cards if you want better offers.

I buy broccoli and cucumbers weekly but never gever offers for those.i have a pc MasterCard and usually get 10 offers a week but they are really sucky, so I was also thinking of just getting a PC plus card to see if that gets any better. Will I need a second email or could I just sign up DH.

You can have as many pcplus cards as you have email addresses. You can either use your hubby's email address to apply for a pcplus card or you can make another email address for yourself. You don't have to open this "junk" account as much but it's good to make these junk accounts to get loyalty cards.

And by the way, you can use this new account or your hubby's account to get another sdm optimum card. Ok then...see you on sdm thread now. lol


I have 1 pcfinancial card and 2 pcplus cards on my name. When i registered my 3rd card with my name and other info, the system prompted me that they already have an account with all this info. The system asked me if i still wanted to make this account. Lol. I went ahead and still made another account.

Maxi is selling Pepsi/7Up for $4.77 for 2 weeks in a row. Last week, I priced matched SDM for $3.99 and got 10,000 points. Today is No Tax Day and I bought 16 cases and got 16,000 points. I got a personalized offer of 100 points per $1 on refrigerated Oasis juice. Price match Adonis for $1.99 and got 1100 points. Personalized offer of 200 per $1 on Annette pastries and bought donuts for $1 and got 200 points.

Total points today 17300

I'm now over $100 in points. Wonder if they have Pandora GC.

Long answer: you can buy as many of the item on a single transaction as long as there are no limits in the fine print. Example: I had an offer for 800pts on Special K cereal - I purchased 4 boxes, got 3200 points. The offer now shows as used, and I can longer buy Special K and still receive points.
