So I have saved/made over $100 by 9 a.m.

That is awesome. The pc Mastercard will net you more free groceries in the long term!

We apparently have wolf spiders here. Sitting by the fire last night I saw one with a body the size of a twoonie sitting on my chest. Resulting in me screaming like a little girl and shaking out my sweater then making bf check me over for it after
I go to reach for the propane lantern and the freaky thing is on my arm. Again screaming like a little girl my sweater hit the ground and I located a spider free coat. BF sat and laughed the whole time.

Half an hour later...another one on my chest this one though died and I had guts on my hand and top to prove I'm not crazy.

I checked my budget this morning and because we have all our camping stuff purchased for food this weekend my budget has an extra 140 to carry over to next month or go in savings. Our power bill is half my budgeted amount due for Sept 10 but I have a final 96 dollars to pay for my cancelled insurance policy. So I'm covered.

This morning I'm sitting by the fire relaxing and knitting. I brought a couple projects along fir Christmas to work on.

Now that we are out I'm content and enjoying the fire.

I used an alternate email to use a free 14 day Internet access to Sirius xm o line to stream tunes through my phone.

I picked up a very nice office chair for my future craft room (his ex has to sept 30 to remove her shop stuff from our home ) off Facebook for $40

Does that mean she is moving her salon elsewhere? If so you should notice some decreases in your hydro etc.

    PS enjoy your camping

I'm not sure if she's moving it or not doing it anymore....she's been paid out and per their agreement no longer has acess. (Thank god!)

Yes our water n power should go down some. Months she did more hair they always jumped.

We picked some apples today, I will be working on that tomorrow - I decided to pick an amount that I can actually do in 1 day, still quite a bit but this way the apples are as fresh as possible and I won't feel overwhelmed. It does mean more picking trips etc but makes the most sense to me. DH & FIL are heading away for a few days this weeks so I will pick some more apples before they leave to keep me busy and I'll have the boys give me a hand.

The pears are slowly ripening. I have a few in the fridge, I will do them when doing the apples. I think they will be ripe the 1st week of school at this rate.

quite happy with my frugal ways in the last few months ( with the " odd " slip up ) but DD's tuition is now paid for her start in Sept. ( hooray! )
that is always a headache, even with her RESP EAP's there is always a shortfall. No matter today I processed free green apples ( picked from my neighbourhood schoolyard ) and I now have 9 lbs of peeled, cored, sliced and vacuum sealed bounty in the freezer. They look so weird when the air gets totally sucked out with the Foodsaver, I am impressed!

Hello folks from Idaho Springs, Colorado. Our room has a balcony with a babbling brook running by. We got a little lost in the mountains today. Beautiful, though! This is our weekend getaway.
