I had a weeklong digital offer of 10,000 bonus points on 12-packs of Gillette Fusion Blades (which will last me about 6 months) and a 18,500 bonus points w.u.s. $75. The blade pack is $57.99, and I needed to buy some foot cream my wife wanted at $13.99. I added a bag of frozen corn I needed for a recipe and a 6-pack of Diet Pepsi for a total of $77.46 before tax. Total points for the transaction was 29,270 (770 base, 10,000 + 18,500 bonus). Not bad at all. This brings my total to 304k points; waiting for the next big redemption day.
I just wish we could spend more than 95k points per transaction; there are a number of items exceeding $170/$200 that I'd like to redeem for.

I wan't too lucky, and only got the 18,500 points in the surprise event. I stocked up on big containers of epsom salts (price is competitive when on sale like this week), Powerade and peanuts. I has planed on redeeming 95,000 points on a Canon T3 SLR camera for a Christmas gift. They were shown at $249.99 on clearance, and I would have gotten the surprise points on the difference. Alas, I could not find an Ottawa store with one in a sealed box, only a display model at one store, which I did not want.

I found Starbucks instant coffee pumpkin spice latte on clearance and it scanned wrong so the cashier gave me scop!
i also got 2 promo cards for surprise points wus $75. Dh wanted stamps and we always buy shoppers gift cards before big purchases to get extra points. Also keeps him busy while I fill the cart . The cashier gave him a promo card for 18,500 points. When I paid for the items with the giftcard I also got a promo card worth 18,500! My biggest points haul since the chocolate bars a few years back. I love shoppers especially when I spend $75 and get $60 in points back.

I wonder what choc haul couponkrystal is talking about!
I got 3x 2-pack Energizer advanced lithium for 99 cents in SDM at East Saskatoon. I WAS there to get one pack of batteries so such a good luck finding them at clearance price. With extra $5 [that was saved] in my hand, I bought Danactive for dad using $2 printable coupon from danon.ca so $2.99!Last edited by Arvilish; Wed, Oct 14th, 2015 at 01:47 PM.
