lol, should have been more specific... someone did a comparison of dollar value per points when you redeem on a normal day or a bonus redemption... or mega...if that even exists anymore? It was a way to calculate the dollar value/points out.

That is how I roughly figure out how much my points are worth as I usually only redeem at 95,000 points. Try to explain to dm but my math skills sure suck and I couldn't explain it. If you redeem 95,000 points for $170, then 559 points equals $1. If you redeem 95,000 points for $210, then 453 points equals $1. My favourite is to redeem 95,000 then about 1 week later get back 30,000 points, for $170. So for 65,000 points, I get $170, which works out to only 383 points equals $1. Hope that is what you are looking for.

Bought 10 small bottles of softsoap and 10 refill bottles of softsoap and a $4.99 crayola markers for daughter. Spent $72ish and got back 37k poings.

Nice job. I did 6 refills and 4 foaming hands. 21k, spent $30. I plan to go back Friday, counted over 150 bottles left and then realized there was another 400 on the endcap. I'm going to be well stocked by Friday as I'm sure there will be some left lol.

I know what you mean by spend or redeem. Decisions, decisions. My current strategy is if I plan on spending $85 and won't lose bonus points redeeming, I will redeem. Redeeming points for $170 vs $85 isn't a huge difference in value IMHO, I have more than I need saved for Christmas (I'm at 6+ full redemptions). It also helps me to keep our budget balanced.

She is speaking of the special offers SDM occasionally does, where they offer us points back when we redeem at certain levels. The points value of those days end up being higher than the Spend Your Points events.

Went today but a bunch of soft soap a couple a containers of mixed nuts, some eggs, Nizoral shampoo and werthers for dm Christmas stocking. Got 35000 points. Forgot to buy gift card first. Ugggh! But overall happy and all stocked up on soft soap...love the foaming hand soap. Should be good for a couple of years. Dh is going to have to get busy building more shelves. Pantry is full and haven't put any of my canning stuff I away yet. And there is a bit of it.

Oh dear me... came home with another load of soap. Wasn't going to, but of course just had to stop in (waited till late so as not to b an improper soap hog)... and of course there was still a ton of lonely soap sitting on the shelf begging to be purchased. So between Fri offer and in store offer came away with @57,000 points. Happy to have all this soap as there are many a hand in our household; thinking that we are ok for soap for 2 years. There is still another offer that my husband could use but he will be stronger than me... probably. lol.

Hubby and I did great shops on Wednesday.

I spent $81 and got back 28240 points.
(7k vib, 18.5k wus $75, 1900 personal offers, + base)

Hubby did better than I.
He spent $66 and got back 38K
(9k diapers, 4500 personal offers, 16k wus $60, 8k soft soap, + base)

plus 2K gift card.

So, we spent about $140 + tax, and got back about 68K.

That 16K/$60 is our favourite!

I didn't think this weekend was a 20x shop ... our flyer said that it was "your personalized offer of 20x "..... so for me that personalized offer was 20x wus $50 .....

did do a shop today .... haven't been in to SDM for the last week or so as been so busy.... (work - fruit trees - older parent ...)
Spent $95 --- got 23,000 pts back .... probably should have just redeemed but, oh well..... sad that I missed out on the Softsoap promo last week --- I know I had that offer of extra points but it didn't show on my app and on Friday I couldn't figure out which card it might have been on ....so sad ... it's a product that my DS actually uses so I do buy it (the tangerine foaming one )

Today I bought a couple of xmas gifts for nieces that love makeup (the maybelline NY Blush palette) and the Revlon lipstick for moi.......

I need some redemption love --- come on SDM bring it on ... the redeem and get points back offer

Love the tangerine foaming soap as well. As for redemption cashier thought there should be one coming up in October, definitely overdue it has been ages. Don't know what is going on with lack of redemption offers.
