The NDP will take down a liberal minority, not the Conservatives. It will happen when the NDP figures they have a real chance to form the next government. Mulcair has shown he can't do it, so it will have to be another leader of the NDP. Who that is, I don't know. And if the NDP don't feel they have a viable alternative to Trudeau, who people will vote for, this minority government could last a very long time.
Or there could be a surprise and the Conservatives who usually get 2 or 3 percentage points more on election day than polls suggest they will, actually pull off a slim minority. Then a confidence vote, government falls, opposition coalition government with two parties on the left who both want to be the one party on the left, could be ugly.
I don't usually on Monday, but I think I'll buy a 12 pack for the coverage tomorrow night. Kinda like the Stanley Cup playoffs.
