My brother has a business (Big Phil's Rubbish) and for the month of October said he would donate a percentage to a local charity. He decided on the food bank in Port Coquitlam, BC.
Last week he invited me to help him with the shop. It wasn't much notice however I made a list and matched with coupons and did some price matching. All thanks to what I've learned from smart Canucks over the last year.
We got 4 carts full of items that he will take in tomorrow morning. It was so much fun. We all dressed in green with Santa hats. Lots of people stopped us and asked what we were doing. It felt good to say we were shopping for the food bank.
I just wanted to send out a huge thanks to you all. I have learned so much from this group that he was able to make a bigger donation.
Photo of his great haul. For those of you in the lower mainland BC check out his Facebook page. He will have photos posted soon.

How thoughtful of your brother and you. I run the Foodbank in my community and it is always great when companies donate a percentage of their business to the Foodbank.
