Used FPC for Highliner fish for dinner-from the buy 2, get 1 free promotion back in June. For some reason they never sent the coupon so I phoned and they confirmed our PIN's had been submitted correctly online. We had the mediterranean salmon which was pretty good.

I don't know about everyone else, but this time of year (after daylight savings) I physically crave tropical fruit. Bananas/apples/grapes/pears/oranges just don't give me the happy buzz that they usually do. So I was very happy this week that my store had a really fresh selection to choose from and it matched deals from other stores.

    (All price matched at RCSS)

    Pineapple .$99 (PM'ed Farm Fresh)
    Persimmons 3/$2.00 (PM'ed No Frills)
    Kiwi 6/$2.00 (PM'ed Fusion)
    Guava $1.99 (PM'ed Great Food)
    Pomegranates 4/$2.00 (PM'ed Fresh Co. & used 2 x $1 coupons)

So for under $10, I got a taste of the tropics and I feel as if my body is soaking up sunshine. Much cheaper than booking a one-way ticket to the Caribbean.

12 Elle magazines for $3 at wagjag! My bro has been bugging me to subscribe to it as I used to get it for free using SampleSource but I could not get any this time around. Happy to get it for super-cheap.

Yes, much cheaper than a trip to the tropics!
And they charge $25 for luggage, these days.
$10 for all that fruit is also better than the cost of a big mac meal too. And much healthier.

    Merry Christmas Candini ^.^

Bought myself the iPod touch from WM. Did a bit of research this afternoon, Apple has the same one refurbished for $209.00. Other retailers are $229 or higher.

WM is $178, came to $201.99 with tax. Went through swagbucks so will get an additional 1100 points, equivalent to $11.

Took my DM into town to do a little Christmas shopping. First we stopped at Shoppers so we could both do a redemption using my points. My parents are retired and I love being able to help out over Christmas with covering the cost of some of the items they need.
But the best deal by far was at the Hudson Bay store on their Black Friday weekend. We were walking through and saw a display of Tommy Hilfiger pyjama sets for men (cotton shirt and pants). Regularly priced at $68, I picked up three pairs for $24.99 each! I saved $129.00! The cashier told me I scored an amazing deal and that the price of the sets were being raised back to $68.00 in the morning. How thrilled will my son, son-in-law and nephew be on Christmas morning!

went to local Goodwill - they have 50% certain color tag each week and i always try to get items that are 50%. So I got a nice Steve Madden wool coat for $4, 2 shirts for maternity wear $3/each, 1 pair of maternity pants $4, 2 sweaters $3.50/each. Total $21.
