Of course. And that's exactly what the left did with Harper, criticized his every move and vilified him. Now the right will do the same to the left's guy in charge. And when someone on the right gets to be the guy or gal in charge the left will do it again. Then the right will do it, then the left will do it...

I don't think it's about getting old Dave. It's just at a certain age you get to see it's just a "Repeat" of one government or another, flailing around with good intentions until the next guy.

We (humans) have seen every kind of government under the sun. So far, not so great.

Actually I meant more about what gets said on here. I know the drill. It just seems some people can't get over the fact the government changed. When Harper was in I didn't like it but I also got on with my life. It didn't consume me nor does Trudeau being in consume me. Is all I meant.

When it comes down to it the only politics that really matter are local because they affect your daily life more than other levels.

HOPEFULLY...there's enough checks and balances in the USA electoral system that makes the most extreme on both the left and right to stop a theocracy in the veins of the Gilead Republic
