I just bought most of the presents for our 3yr old. Paint supplies from Dollarama. A nice metal track hoe from Peavey Mart's 40% off sale.

@Midnightly -last night I decided to address 4 envelopes for cards. Could only find three addresses spread over several pages of old planners. Now I have the 4th address (found it in an email) in my current planner. Paper shredding the old pages is so much more rewarding than clicking on Delete in e-mail.
Think a small address book is in order as I've used up my pages for notes/addresses/numbers (got everything written last night so it is complete).

Friend uses cell phone for an alarm in the morning.
Cell phone provider has had some problems with this function last little while. So I called to be the wake up call for an important day. Friend went to the store to buy an alarm clock and found that they were all out. Store employee said they aren't popular items any more.

    Here's the good part.
Costco LaCrosse dual alarm clock with light, USB port, moon phases icon, back up dimmer, 2 batteries, AC adapter. Reg. $33.00, Costco online sale price $29.99, in store clearance $16.97.

Friend will be very happy with this gift, I think.

I Bought my teen a fancy light up/Iphone charger alarm clock. I find he doesn't always "hear" his phone alarm.

I bought two Superman themed onsies for the twins for their Christmas stockings, $6.97 at Wal-Mart. Our 3yr old son loves his Superman shirt and the Superman sleeper that our 4.5 month old twin wears. I think our son will love it. I also bought my husband two new blue shirts. One for his stocking and the other from us. We spent a good chunk of money in August updating the electrical in our house. We are going on a date tomorrow night, which is pretty expensive now that we have to hire 2 babysitters. Anyway, the house and the date night are somewhat like our presents to each other. Dh's birthday is December 28, but he doesn't know what he wants, which always makes things challenging.

Oh enjoy a special night out

I am pretty much done my shopping unless i just see something in my travels. I have 2 parcels to pick up this weekend across the border though. A trunk load of toys and other delivered to my charity. Biy that felt good, both the giving and the extra space in my small house. I've also sold off a bunch of xmas decorations and made some extra money. Still need to decorate and put up tree but I did get a few lights up on the patio and I am enjoying sitting out there in my little wonderland/

A friend just told me that I should be able to find the "Gone fishin' game" at Wal-Mart for $8. It was on my list to purchase for our 3yr old. We just received a nice cash Christmas gift from my dad and his wife, for our 3 young children. Dad would prefer that we spent it on the children or doing something with the children. We usually like to put it into their individual savings accounts. I think we might compromise and put half the money into their accounts and the other half will be spent on them. This small game might be from the grandparents.

For the SC members in the Montreal area, you can try out the Keurig Kold display unit at the Montreal pop-up store until Dec.31. Happened to see Keurig Canada's tweet about the store and I asked if shoppers could buy the Kold unit. The unit is only sold online until Jan. 1. Might be a good trip to explore things Keurig!

Just havemy om and dh's stockings to wrap. Would have gotten it done this afternoon/evening but got a call at 2pm from mom saying she called an ambulance for my dad as he was non stop throwing up and said he was dying
As he has.late stage Alzheimer's we can't trust anything he says so still waiting in emergency Dept really high blood pressure which is normally low and an abnormal ecg. So we wait. Been a difficult few weeks. Kind of lost my Christmas spirit!
