There's a decent deal on ASTRO ATHENTIKOS greek yogurt. B3 G 50 @$3.69 each. Superstore has $1 off coupons reducing the cost to $2.69 each so spend just over $8 and get 50 miles

Thanks! I almost never check the Safeway flyer anymore as i have been too busy chasing pc points. This is good! A favorite of dh.
Nature Valley bars B4G3,000 @ $1.97
4 = $7.88
3,000 is worth $7 or more towards a BC Ferries ticket
Plus Walmart has them on for $1.88 this week so if you price match 4 = $7.52
Basically a free ferry ticket.

We're supposed to get 4 Save On's in Sask.. I think one opened in Regina and supposedly Saskatoon is next

It's 1 point/dollar.
A BC Ferries ticket valued at around $16 would require spending $6,500. A 6Xs card would take it down to about $1,100 for a $16 ticket which is only about a 1.5% reward.
That said, I concentrate/strike if there are bonus offers (few and far between) like Buy 4 Eggos get 1,500-2,500 points especially if I can price match at a lower price. For example:
B4G2000 on Eggos at $2.50 each
4 with cash ($10) gets 10 points
4 on their credit card = 6 x 10 = 60 points
4 if it's the B4G2000 offer is $10 spent = 2,000 + 60 (on their card) = 2,060 = about $5 on the ferry ticket so about a 50% savings.
So I think the card by itself is not that good a deal.

Sobeys parent Empire posts massive $942.6-million loss amid Safeway struggles
Charlebois said the problems might have been exacerbated by how the companies operated before the takeover.
“You are looking at two very distinctive cultures and they managed their businesses quite differently. Safeway’s private label strategy was a little stronger and more committed, whereas at Sobeys it seemed like a bit of an enigma, and it felt like they didn’t know what to do with it. That is really different from Loblaw, where you really feel a strong commitment towards the brands.”

Yep.. cut back on Air Miles deals, get rid of the Twitter deal, no more eAuction.. and they can't figure out some of the problems..
