On the second of three by Greg van Eekhout. The first is called California Bones. The one I'm reading right now is Pacific Fire and the third is Dragon Coast. Fantasy-type genre. Pretty good so far.

So I started on Dragon Coast today, like I mentioned above. I highly recommend these three novels even if you're not at all into the fantasy genre. They're not over-the-top fantasy like some books out there. I generally don't read this genre myself but I really like these books, glad I picked them up.

I am excited to start the last of the Stephen King Mr Mercedes trilogy called End of Watch. The other two books were good (not great) but I like the character of Bill Hodges a retired police officer. Cant say I have read anything that blew me away lately, I hope the fall brings out some good new releases

I just finished (literally, just now, 4:00am) Widow by Fiona Barton. It was an interesting approach to a murder thriller, kind of good but I was hoping for more of a twist. I understand why it was written the way it was with a slow reveal but hmmm, just wanted a bit of a punch. Pretty gripping for the first 3/4s tho
