    Holy hecking haul today, people!

    Got:

    -Ton of vintage 1950s-60s John Wagner and Sons spice jars, long ethernet cord, two Disney sticker books and a watch for $1!!!
    - A selection of small tubes of glitters (making more Christmas balls for friends this year), two hospital pillow cases, a muslin bandage, key chain and headband for 25c!
    -GOSH brand hair serum, 25c (retails $25ish online)
    -GNC digital bodyweight scale, brand new Puff The Magic Dragon book with CD for a friend's daughter, Lululemon pants, UnderArmor Storm pants, vintage dress that is from a bridal shop brand, a dozen other pieces of clothing, a pair of earrings, three Corelle bowls and one salad plate, dinosaur shaped sandwich cutter, two cake tips, Panasonic 2-handset cordless phones ($80 new!), Bike Brightz ($17 new), swivel tap for my bathroom sink, two serving forks... $6!!
    -Disneyland 50th anniversary towel (which I was there for, but was 13 and did not have much spending money nor foresight!), stack of cookbook magazines, multiple western-themed earrings, cat stationery - $3

    I'm sure I've forgotten something but I'm just in awe. I got so much cool stuff today. Probably got $700 worth of stuff, all said and done.

    I think a lot of people in their 40s now had these in their houses growing up.

    Some great deals and a rant over the past few days

    RCSS Trip #1 (Yesterday):
    Orville Popcorn (3): $8.64 (PM FB; $2.88) + 3,000PC (1,000/1 Digital; Up to 17,640Pts) = $5.64 -> Reg $9.00
    Zevia Ginger Ale (4): $15.96 (PM Metro; $3.99) -> Reg $23.96
    Watermelon Lrg: $2.88 (PM FB) -> Reg $3.98
    PC Chicken Legs (2pks; 3.734kg total): $7.99 (In-store special; $2.14/kg!!!) -> Reg $20.50 (Went back up to $5.49/kg today)
    Pork Roast (0.580kg): $2.26 (PM YIG; $1.77/lb; 3 day sale) ->Reg $8.78

    RCSS Trip #2 (Today):
    The rant....

    I was really amazed by the price for the Pork Roast that I decided to go back for some more for school in Sept. after a long wait at the meat counter, I was denied the PM, being told that the types didn't match up and that the fella that PM'ed yesterday was "wrong to do that" even though It seemed to match theirs in my opinion. Also tried to PM Zehrs for their $3.99/lb beef roasts and was also denied in that RCSS has AAA Beef and the ad stated "AA or higher" and that it "did not matter what it says". Really hate RCSS at times like this, when It is different with every person you talk to!!!

    YIG Trip (Today):
    Pork Roasts (4pks; 2.718kg total): $10.60 (3 day sale; $1.77/lb, goes up to $2.49/lb tomorrow)

    No Frills Trip (Today):
    Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (1pk; 1.355kg): $2.98 (Only $2.20/kg!!) Had no sticker on it and got it reweighed and he only put it for $2.20/kg!!! Think It was still some leftover from their sale for $4.14/kg, so about half price!!!

    Value Village(prices after the 50% off)

    Hue faux leather leggings-$3.74
    Dynamite dress(looked rediculous on me and but looks amazing on my oldest dd)-$4.74
    Dynamite romper-$1.99
    3 pairs of Secret tights for-$0.49 each(I make head bands out of these and each pair makes about 50 headbands).

    We celebrated my birthday a few days early today and my thirteen year old surprised me and used her last $17.00 to buy me a gift card to the craft store.

    Quite coincidentally was back at Loblaws again near their closing time today. The bread which was on sale for .10 last week was on again but for .50 - That's ok! I bought 2 loaves. (No raisin bread this week, though)

    My husband doesn't want to drink Pepsi. It contains a strawberry extract that he is allergic to.

    Re: price matching meat at RCSS, I inquired once too...with a Food Basics flyer, and the meat manager also told me that there was a difference in quality, and so RCSS would not price match meat. Understandable assuming that they are paying more for a better quality product to start with. It is worth noting as well that sometimes there are PC plus point benefits in buying meat there, and an extra 20 per cent off fresh pork, or beef can reduce the price substantially.

    New Hockey bag for DS!!

    Reg price is $159.99. Was on sale for $129.99. I went and put it on hold on Sunday (even though we were told it was on sale till next weekend.

    Bought Sportchek gift cards for 20% off (that's why I had to put on hold- I had just bought gift cards but had to wait over 24 hours for them to activate)

    So went back last night to pick up the bag. Rang in at $159.99!!! Sale was over but good thing I put one aside and it had the sale tag on it!!! So $129.99 less $20 coupon. Now it's $109.99 (so pay cheaper tax!) They have a promo on that if you spend over $100 you receive a $20 GC!!! I also received 129 scene points!
    So happy with this deal
