Omg @rockco this is very detailed. How long does it take you to out together and how are you doing this? Do you use the computer for flyers or an app?
So impressed!

Manual input into excel, as the information is released, I review preview flyers online, paper flyers & then the app. I only do this level of detail when I have lots to buy (holidays, celebrations), because I can look back on the list when a new food requirement comes up during the week, and we need a good sale.
I don't have the additional time to summarize like @cinpow & @ashoo . That why' you're receiving the raw dump of lots of data, and it's not as timely as their posts.
It's a lot of work, that's why @cinpow 's & @ashoo 's summarized lists are so appreciated. They do a lot of time consuming work to review, cross reference & summarize... they're consistent, on a weekly basis and so many benefit from their information.

@rocko
thank you so much for the list!!! i price matched for the first time today, and held up the line a bit which was quite frustrating, but i felt so great walking out with the best deals!! Thank you ^_^
Any tips on how to effectively organize the flyers before hand?

Here's a few suggestions to fit into your shopping habits & based on the characteristics of your store.
- (If available,) checkout in the bull pen style cashiers checkout section, instead of the single line cashier.
- Pre-group purchases by flyer with accompanying coupon. For each group, pre-give coupons to cashier to allow them to review for each group prior to scanning of product.
- I mix between paper & phone app for price matching. So I alternate between paper & then phone app, so I'm not delaying cashier as I swipe to a different flyer on phone. I have an old phone so it responds slow for me, thus the need to alternate between app & phone. Others with faster phone/tablet will do all matching of app together & then paper flyers together. Others just use apps on their phone & take advantage of the "clip" option.
- When paper flyer is involved, I always place flyer on top of that group (to remind me to match) and so the cashier doesn't start scanning these items at regular price. [It's extra effort if they scan at regular, then have to reverse, then select price matching option for the correct re-scan.]
Over time, you'll adjust the method based on your own personal style. Enjoy the benefits...

I try to space out my pms for example i lay them out like this
Points card
Regular price item
PM item - give coupon
Reg item (gives me time to find next pm on app)
PM item
Reg item - give coupon
Etc.
I almost always miss something and have to back track but keep your cool and ignore the customers huffing behind you (besides they've already been warned I may take a while)
