Sad to say, the Regal website and Regal closed its catalogue operations about 2 weeks ago.
Oh, how I loved trolling those store aisles in search of goodies I didn't know I really needed to have!
Loved the wrapping papers.....sad to see them go. I think they only help schools, etc with fundraising.
Yep, @Natalka, I do think that's what AVON is looking for....good price, too!! And now that she's in a big city, they may even have a BB&B..

ugg...you can tell Mr P was on vacation..he spent all day on the phone sorting out work-related stuff.
We got the old dishwasher removed but the new one still needs to be moved and fitted since I can't shift it myself, I have to wait...

Good morning, everyone!!
Hmph. @Natalka hasn't responded to my request to move in..I mean..visit her cousin's farm...it must just be that she can't reach him while he's in his fields..I know...in my dreams!!
Had my coffee, had my oatmeal with 6 almonds and ground flax seeds, Jenny had a couple of tbsps of it, too, so onward with my day! Dr appt this afternoon, then to Fabricland to pick up suitable ribbons and lace for the pillow and stocking, then DD's taking me shopping for an outfit for the wedding in 2 (!!) weeks...how time is flying!
I hope everyone else's days will be just as exciting as mine ...Enjoy, stay well, stay safe!

Cute story re Grandson...he had his first day of Grade 3 yesterday, loves school, loves his teacher, etc, and when DD got home from work last evening, he announced to her that his Dad had taught him division. So our SIL asked him, "What's 24 divided by 6?"...he thought about it for a second, then said, "Four."...our DD of course was overly enthusiastic, lol, then asked him, "Okay...so what's 24 divided by 4?"...he tried working it out, but couldn't come up with the answer, so she said, "So if 24 divided by 6 is 4, what's 24 divided by 4?"..."6?" he said immediately..."YES!", she exclaimed..."..and it works every single time!!" He was so impressed with that marvelous fact, and couldn't get over it working "every single time" with any numbers!
LOL........ He couldn't wait to tell his teacher all about this little miracle of math...and that he now knows what ÷ means!!
And um...he wrote a song about mornings...this morning..
I know, silly story, but wouldn't it wonderful if we could all find those little miracles in our days now?
I'll practice looking for them today...Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Sep 8th, 2016 at 11:16 AM.

Oh! And yesterday, our SIL heard a 'bang' outside, then someone yelling, "Hello?!!" a few times, so he thought perhaps his neighbour fell or something, went out the front door only to find their mailman in the bed of his truck, because a little bear was in their driveway overturning their garbage container! So they both waited until it sauntered off, thinking next time to be there the day 'before' garbage pick-up...
Can you imagine?!
And it's not like they're in deep woods, it's in a residential suburb...although they do back onto a green-belt...

Nat, I love that picture! Wouldn't that be great to wake up to every morning!
Lynn, I love your story about your grandson! Like mother, father, baba and grandpa - like son, grandson! Very clever! Keeping numbers in your head and sizzling them around is a fine art!
