The best place to buy lottery is at Petro Can stations where you can get 20 points for every $1 spent. It is worth at least 1 %. Plus you can earn reward on your CC which is considered gas purchase if you can get more reward for gas spending on some CCs. You can get more Petro points if you have a HBC reward card which everyone can get one for free, CAA card from BC or Ont, SPC card(anyone can buy one on Petro can website even though it is for students). If you can combine HBC, CAA, SPC cards with Petro points, then the reward would be about 2% + your CC reward.
if you don't want to go to Petro can station or it is not close to you to buy lottery, then buy some SDM gift cards from Petro Can stations to earn the same amt of Petro points and use the SDM gift cards to buy lottery or every else you normally buy from SDM.Last edited by a_1_a; Wed, Sep 14th, 2016 at 07:07 PM.

Warning: Totally not a Safeway deal ahead...
At Costco today I noticed they had their 2 packs of Patak's butter chicken sauce on sale for $4.79 ($2 off?) This is a fantastic deal. Nothing better than an easy supper!

is the spend 4400 get 880 bonus miles, something that everyone can get, i am an onyx member but i don't remember ever getting any kind of bonus offers like this, where do i look to see if can get this, thanks for any advice
Edited to add that i now see your reply to lavender lady and realize that this must be an offer that is emailed out from BMO, now i feel pretty foolish as i often get emails from BMO and usually don't even open them, because although i have an Elite BMO MasterCard, i do not have any accounts at BMO and i always just assumed their emails were advertising - yikes so now i might have to go thru my email trash to see if i may have received this offer. I am so mad at myself for not paying closer attention to this, i use my m/c for everything personal and business and sometimes ring up $10,000 a month so i should definitely be getting these offers.Last edited by albianne; Fri, Sep 16th, 2016 at 12:54 AM.

Can you guys tell me who is sending these various "spend X and receive X bonus airmails" offers? Are you receiving them from the Airmails website or from Bank of Montreal and how are you receiving them, are they coming to your email or are you logging in somewhere and searching them out. I went thru my trash folder after reading about Tommy's excellent bonus offer and discovered that i had 2 emails from Bank of Montreal, the title on the email was BMO Perks and once opened they state: Your exclusive offers are here and then it says my current offer is "get 40 AM bonus miles when you spend 50.00 at The Childrens Place, and then again in another email earlier this month my exclusive offer was "Get 10.00 welcome gift from back from us on your first purchase of 50.00 or more at Le Chateau" . Well i was pretty disgusted with these offers compared to you all's, haha, these coupons in no way reflect my spending habits, i don't even have small children. I routinely spend between 6000-10,000 a month (business and personal) and never carry a balance or pay interest, so I am not sure why I am not considered a good enough customer to receive the same perks as everyone else is getting. I did call BMO and the lady had no idea how or why people are getting the offers but she did offer me 100 bonus miles I think out of guilt to try nd placate me, lol

WTFudge is this Safeway?!?!?! Really, last year I said ok stuff changes a bit sometimes when blood sugar meters went from 250 bonus airmiles to 200... I was NOT happy, but I lived with it.... NOW you half that and expect us to not notice it is only 100 airmiles? You do know most diabetics are on a LOT of meds right? NOT COOL AT ALL!!! You better believe I am blogging about this and mentioning that SaveOnFoods is going toe to toe with you and THEY are price matching all major grocery stores. If you don't like it, well fixing it is a option.

Earlier in the year I bought a lotto ticket at an official Lotto Kiosk with my BMO AirMiles credit card and was charged a cash advance fee of a few bucks for the purchase. BMO told me that all lottery now counts as cash advance. I rarely buy lottery anyway, but now I definitely don't. Unless I have cash on me.

What got me is there's no notice from them that you have to pay the cash advance fee. They just let you find out after the fact.
