SIGH!!!!!!!!!!! Too much turkey, too much everything else and definitely too much birthday cake! we were supposed to be 12, turned out to be 16 and everyone fit around 2 tables in DD`s kitchen. We have a ritual where we each say what we are thankful for during the past year. The little ones giggled and didnt know what to say, while the grown ups were quite winded. It was a great way to spend Sunday evening. Now looking forward to Christmas.

I spent most of the morning looking up recipes for leftover turkey. We had a 22lb bird that only needed to feed 4 people, so there are loads of leftovers. My main leftover meals are for Thanksgiving shepherds pie, turkey soup and hot turkey sandwiches. I was thinking about turkey tetrazzini or turkey enchiladas.

Ham and cabbage rolls are in the oven - just have to stop and glaze the ham every once in a while.
We'll also be having potato salad, zucchini tots (first time trying that), and glazed dilly carrots.
Strawberry cheesecake and/or pumpkin pie with real whipped cream for later.
