Leonard Cohen Passes Away at 82

Legendary Canadian singer, songwriter, author and poet Leonard Cohen has died. He was 82 years old. The news was announced on his Facebook page at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thursday. So far there is no cause of death being reported.

Remembrance Day Services Planned Across the Country

Canadians from coast to coast will pause to remember Canada's war heroes on this Remembrance day. Scores of ceremonies are scheduled across the GTA. The most prominent event is in Ottawa where Gov. Gen David Johnston and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are among those who will be on hand. Traditionally tens of thousands of people gather around the National War Memorial.
