Hope everyone is doing well. I'm finally over this silly cold (for the most part), so back to just the dull ache. It's funny how painful sneezing can be.

Gameprogirl, welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear you're dealing with pain issues too. If you need to vent, we're all here to listen.

I'm feeling very bad today, been nauseated, sweaty and visited the ceramic throne over 8 times.

Sorry to hear that. Is this related to pain issues? Or do you have a touch of the flu (I was hit hard by a cold the last couple of weeks).

    Hope you're feeling better soon.

I just had gallbladder surgery done not too long ago but I was having severe attacks for 13yrs so it almost feels like it was never removed still having attacks and they are horrible. On a waiting list for 5 yrs for surgery. I have tons of stomach issues, IBS, I have non-alcoholic related liver problems, stomach ulcers, tendonitis in both arms/shoulders/wrists, severe chemical sensitivity, environmental allergies, seizures (rare), sleep epnea, anemia and asthma. It's difficult because 2 yrs ago I worked 3 jobs and walked 2k per day. Now I have done barely anything and I feel miserable most days. I am only 30, if I'm this bad now, I shudder to think how bad things may get in the future.

I hope all you are well today, you guys seems like such genuine and caring individuals, I appreciate the welcome. I dont really have any friends on the outside so it's nice not to have to unload on hubby or my family all the time. Not that they care, we are all a very close knit group but I feel bad for being miserable and I almost feel like a whiner. You know how you just want to talk, knowing there is nothing anyone can do for you but you need that ear of comfort? Do you ever feel sick and tired of being sick and tired, just want to be normal, pain free, smiling and laughing, no worries?

Wow, sounds like you`ve got quite the list of fun things to deal with.

I can sympathize. I was 33 when my life got turned upside down by going on dialysis & having fun complications.

My list involves bad kidneys caused by 25yrs of diabetes (fixed now I have a recycled kidney & a pancreas from a transplant), freaky complications during dialysis - calcium imbalance causing broken bones in my feet (casts, braces, wheelchair, back to casts for 2+ yrs, then re-learning how to walk), bleeding in my eyes (on & off for yrs, easily fixed with a laser zap, til I went blind in my right eye, vision saved by an excellent Dr, but me being me, I had weird complications, so surgery to fix the surgery). On a daily basis I deal with a low-grade dull annoying pain all over that I mostly ignore, a high pulse (100+), & very low energy. I think the worst part is the low energy, since I used to be a Type A personality. If I overdo things (which I do constantly, cause I`m stubborn), I get a sharp pain in the middle of my back - feels like someone`s taking an axe to me.

A friend of mine had the same issue with her gallbladder (waited 10 yrs for surgeons to remove it). She swears by drinking water spiked with electrolytes (like Pedialyte & Gatorade) - it gives her enough oomph to get through the day.

Is your Dr giving you anything for the anaemia? When mine was bad during dialysis, I was getting shots of Epo (erithroprotein) 3x/week. I`m still on iron pills (300mg/day) to keep my levels up. I`m very lucky that I don`t have any of the usual reactions to the iron pills.

I find it helps to talk to people who `get it`. As much as family & friends try, it`s hard to understand pain & fatigue unless you experience it.

Feel free to vent all you want. Or if you want to PM me, I`m always happy to listen.

Hi, I went to dr today and the reason he needed to see me is my iron level has depleted so after some run around I managed to get filled and went to a walk in to get shot because it has to be administered by nurse or dr and my dr left for 4 days today. Grrrrr so I save money because I no longer need drugs for high cholesterol but now spend it back for iron shots, frustrating. The only reason dr can think of for iron depletion is my diet which by the way is why my cholesterol is better without meds and my blood glucose levels are perfect (with diet, exercise and insulin). Still no idea what is causing the pain in right side but if the iron works I will have the energy to want to do things and more pain when I do them, makes me excited lol. Enough about me how is everyone else doing?? The long weekend is almost here I hope everyone has a fantastic Canada day painfree, stressfree and nice weather too!!

I'm enjoying the fireworks on the mountain. I feel a lot better than the past few days. Streaked my brother's hair and bought some subway. Hubby did the dishes for me. He's such a good man

Heading out the door for another specialist appointment today.
To be honest, I'm not expecting anything new.
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

You never know. It was specialist #6 that figured out one of my issues, the others dismissed my complaints.

Keeping fingers & paws crossed they have an answer for you.

After having pain for a long time we stop getting our hopes up that it will go away. I have been less tired I didn't realize how exhausted I was all the time until a few days after the iron shot I suddenly wanted to do laundry, vacuem and do dishes all in one day. I guess you know I overdid it, lol. I have a question about the iron injection though I need to increase iron in my diet and yes liver and green leafy vegies but will that be enough? Kind of weird my dr thinks I have a liver problem and now I need to add liver to my diet for iron. Ironic isn't it??? ROFL, a little humor to start my day hope everyone can find some today
