Wow! I didn't know Nl hit those big numbers above zero For now we are on the island at the other end of the Country - beautiful low to mid 20s. And for the time being - we don't have any of the smoke from the fires. However, they say that may change.

Really nice thunderstorms throughout the evening yesterday, and a fair bit of rain.
Lucky we had no hail here, and the power didn't go out - though many areas of the city lost it.

it was so "cool" here today, SOME people had to light wood stoves ...ya, I was cold for a few hours....it was cold and then we had a thunder/lightning storm and then it became colder--an extra quilt will be needed tonight!

was beautiful in morning 18 and by lunch time did get to 26 around 3:00 PM .. heaven open up and rain came down crazy and thunder and lightning was putting of awesome show
