The Big Sick. It was smart and funny. Ray Romano and Holly Hunter were great.

yippee!! I was going to go today to see that, but other things got in the way. I am going for sure though.

I went this afternoon to see The Big Sick ( cheap Tuesdays!! ) and it was both very touching and funny. Totally agree with you @Cake , Ray Romano and Holly Hunter portraying HER parents was terrific casting and the actor who played Kumail Nanjiani's Dad was quite funny. Apparently Kumail's real dad wanted Anupam Kher to play him in the movie but they thought there was no way they could get him because he is a pretty famous movie celebrity in India.
I'll bet this couple never expected that this part of their life story would be such a hit in film.

Despicable Me 3 (9/10). This movie didn't disappoint. Had upbeat music mostly retro which was highly entertaining!

Yeah, we saw this too on Monday. For me it was just ok. The weakest of the three movies. I give it a 6.5/10. It didn't wow me, not even the minions and I found Gru's brother to be quite obnoxious.

Anupam Kher has done Dad roles in a few British and Hollywood movies. I want to watch Big Sick.
