I am getting really frustrated with Shoppers Drug Mart these days.
You would think if a product was on sale all versions of it would be but not at Shoppers. Today I saw Pure Leaf iced tea on sale or so I thought - the sticker said 2 for $5.00, so I pick my favorite flavor and proceed to the cash only to find out it is not on sale. When the clerk checks she asks me if the barcode ends in a 6. I say no a 7. Sorry but only that one flavor is on sale. Really? That would never happen at the grocery store or at Walmart, but Shoppers gets away with it.
I get annoyed that the prices are not the same in all locations, even within a town or city. Are they all not centralized? I understand they are franchised pharmacists but don't you think customers would notice price differences??

that would be so annoying. The person that likes/prefers that ONE flavour on sale must feel special.

Agree, I've paid full price for on sale Canada Dry products, all Canada Dry on sale including club soda except lemon-lime club soda. Shoppers promo offer bonus coupon didn't work either. Never had issues like this previous years, just this year.

That does suck, but actually I have seen that at many stores including grocery stores and Walmart. If one flavour is not selling, is discontinued, or is expiring soon, they will put that particular one on sale. Most recently I saw it at London Drugs with RiceWorks chips.
Still sucks though.

They like to put the less popular flavours on sale it seems which gets confusing. I'm still going to SDM as I get the points for doing my prescriptions there.

But it makes sense to put less popular items on sale. It's just business.
It is annoying when they don't say it on the flyer (e.g. "selected flavor only"), then I make a trip to the store and not able to get what I want. I would find it unjust. If they had printed it on the flyer, I decided to check it out anyway. Then I have nothing to complain. Besides, it does happen at Walmart and many other stores. Maybe you just haven't encountered the misfortune of preferring the very popular items.
As per different prices at different stores. I have not find that to be true in my area. They do have "manager's pick" or "clearance" items that are different from store to store, but advertised items are always the same price across town.

Most of shoppers are just not getting in most of things at all. It's shame to be such an idiot.
