pretty sure I read somewhere on here, that "beverages don't count for this promo" ? maybe someone 'in the know' can confirm for sure.
fwiw, I've asked SDM employees these questions, and never really got a definitive answer.
@Pointsman milk does count as food /candy I did it only last Wednesday and lots of our SC members also got it.

earn PC optimum points at esso gas stations starting June.

The company said members will earn 10 points per litre on fuel as well as 10 points per dollar on eligible convenience store purchases and car wash services at Esso stations.
Registered members may also receive targeted offers.

What is the difference between getting gas at Esso versus getting gas at RCSS Gas Bar once this happens?

    well that's Great ... I stand corrected.
... makes for a nice stacking opp for those who are also getting the 20X for Milk offer regularly.

I do not believe there will be a difference, I think this more so benefits people who does not have a Loblaw Banner Gas Station in their area as Esso has more locations then Loblaw Banner Gas Stations do.

From the article I read this is PC trying to expand their Loyalty program to compete with Areoplan & Air Miles. Esso has more locations then PC Gas does and I am not sure how busy PC Gas Bar are but I know Essos in this area at least are always packed during the morning and evening commute.

I don't even know PC Gas exists. I'm pretty sure there's none in the GTA area. The ESSO/PC optimum merger will benefit me.

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.... what more can I say........

There's one I know of at a Loblaws in Mississauga and almost certainly at least a few more. Don't quote me, but I think I recall that Loblaws sold all their gas stations to a third party a while back, and they're now operated by Mobil.

That makes sense. I didn’t realize some areas didn’t have the Gas Bar. We have 3 within an hours driving distance!

I usually buy gas at Costco so I don't think this will make me change gas station.
