I was robotic as I placed 2 pork loin roasts into the roast pan at 8:30 p.m. last night.
Uncovered, too lazy to even add seasonings so I just shoved them into the oven.
These late Jays games are the worst for me, I can never stay awake for them, usually missing a great play here and there.
Anyhow....I forgot about the roasts.
Half way through the ball game DH and I queried at each other as to " what was that delicious aroma wafting down the stairs? "
Whew!! lucky again, they were cooked through to the inside without suffering a dried out tough exterior.
DH boiled up and mashed a large pot of clean new spuds ( no need to peel..hooray ) and announcements were shouted upstairs to both kids for anyone wanting a meal.
A late dinner? meh....it was something at least.

Going out after work tonight to go shopping for what I need for bro's wedding in just under 2 weeks. Pretty sure it will be dinner on the go so whatever we grab, maybe the food court at the mall since sadly I have to go to mall for what I need.
