Tonight I used Asian salad mixture ,then I add those things to it ,red ,orange,peppers,cheese , tomatoes,dried pineapple,sliced almond pieces ,roast beef chucks,broccoli,cauliflower..what a yummy 😋 salad and Diet Pepsi..dessert was a peanut butter ice cream yummy 😋

It is a long weekend, it has been a long week and it is not over yet so I decided we are having pizza, Mom will pick it up on her way home since she drives by the pizza place.

Salmon on the grill. Asparagus and zucchini as sides. White wine.

Heading out to the butcher shop shortly, plan is stuffed chicken with local veggies on the grill.

DH put a small ham in the crock pot. I just dug some potatoes and DH picked raspberries. I also picked up some corn on the cob. Simple and hopefully yummy dinner.

Made Pasta in Alfredo Sauce with Mushrooms, Onion, Zucchini & Orange Peppers. Also made a Cesar Salad and Cheesy Garlic Naan

@cabmonk !! your meals are great! We are no where near vegetarian however I eat a ton of veg both raw and cooked.
I love the colour on each of your plates. I will repeat myself again and again here....you are transformed!
You must remember to pat yourself on the back for that every day until your hand falls off! ha ha

So back to our dinner last night....
Shift work made the mealtime a late one. So be it. I decided to start the charcoal around 8:30 p.m.
Everything was going swimmingly until I realized I don't have anywhere near the amount of good light out back to see the food I am cooking....ha ha
No matter. everything got cooked...when one thing was removed from the grate another took its place and with the oven on low in the house, all the cooked items waited there till i was done.

T-bone steaks, burgers, Rea brand mild Italian sausages, grilled bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, corn on the cob and bok choy. Lightly coated the fresh green beans with sesame oil and chili powder and sauteed in a wok.

We are still trying to decide whether the apple wood branches we had trimmed off our tree out front and stuck in with the hot charcoal had anything to do with the flavour of the foods, being exceptionally good. Must repeat this experiment again to know for sure.

Tonight's Dinner will me Marinated Chicken the base is Balsamic with various herbs. As side dishes I will be making Corn on the Cob, Sauteed Snow Peas and Mushrooms with Sesame Seeds & Soya Sauce. Will probably make some potatoes as well, probably roasted in some way shape or form.
