I watched Lonestar 911. New series that started on CTV. Sunday/Monday double premiere. I don't know if I will stay a fan and maintain my viewership but I did enjoy the start of the series. It was predictable but entertaining. I like Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation). I feel like there was some throwback humour to his "health nut" character on Parks and Rec, which I think is also a bit of a nod to him personally.
I found Liv Tyler's acting annoying, but her storyline is interesting, so I will try not to be too judge-y.Last edited by Granger; Thu, Jan 23rd, 2020 at 07:21 PM.

I also watched this and am torn about it.
I wasn't a fan when Rob Lowe joined Code Black, I felt like his Character had an attitude and just had the magical answer and I kind of feel like this character on Lonestar 911 is the same. I know it is the Character but it rubs me the wrong way.
Also torn on Liv Tyler, I agree there is a story there but not sure.
It is not pulling me in the way 911 did and does, but I will give it a few more episodes.

Missed the next episode of Lonestar - it is on PVR. Not a good sign that I forgot. lol
I am watching Station 19 and Grey's tonight. They did a crossover last week and I have been a forever Grey's fan. Station 19 was interesting enough for me to watch again this week. I also watch Law and Order SVU so now I participate in the Thur night trifecta!"There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Binge watching "The Stranger" on Netflix!!! (Mystery/thriller, mild violence/language, lots of characters and trying to figure out how each plays into the story = suspense and NEXT EPISODE clicking!!!)

Just started watching Interrogation on CBS All Access. Really Really Really good if you like that sort of crime drama. Highly recommended.

Just finished watching the two-part BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie's Pale Horse. Very very good. Twists, turns, and back again!

Season 2 of Lost in Space on Netflix
DH and I like different TV, but this is a show we agree on. We both love sci-fi. I was a little disappointed in the first few episodes of season two finding it slow. I wasn't enjoying as much as the first season. We decided to give it one more episode before we abandoned. I am glad we stuck with it. Excitement level picked up and then we watched a few in a row. Looking forward to seeing what happens next tonight!"There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."
