My Quarantine Diary

Quarantine Day 3:
I need to practice social-distancing from the refrigerator.

Quarantine Day 4:
I don't think anyone expected that when we changed the clocks we'd go from Standard Time to the Twilight Zone.

Quarantine Day 5:
Went to this restaurant called THE KITCHEN. You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place is still in business.

Quarantine Day 8:
PSA: Every few days try your jeans on just to make sure they fit. Pajamas will have you believe all is well in the kingdom.

Quarantine Day 12:
This morning I saw my neighbour talking to her cat. It was obvious she thought her cat understood her. I came into my house, told my dog.....we laughed a lot.

Quarantine Day 16:
I used to spin that toilet paper roll like I was on Wheel of Fortune. Now I turn it like I'm cracking a safe.

Quarantine Day 20:
Homeschooling: One of these little monsters called in a bomb threat.

Quarantine Day 21:
I’ve come to the conclusion that half of us are going to come out of this quarantine as amazing cooks. The other half will come out with a drinking problem.

Quarantine Day 26:
I'm so excited --- it's time to take out the garbage. What should I wear?

Quarantine Day 32:
I hope the weather is good tomorrow for my trip to Puerto Backyarda. I'm getting tired of Los Livingroom.

Quarantine Day 36:
The maid called yesterday and we did a ZOOM home maintenance session. She talked me through vacuuming and making the beds...and she reduced her rates by 10%!

We all know cats have attitude but this video defies common sense! How does this cat lay there during all of this??
For instance one of our ginger cats is totally neurotic when it comes to eating. I place the wet food in the dish onto his mat and if I DARE to make any little noise ( like turn on the tap, or move dishes in the sink, once I tossed the knife into the sink ) as he is licking and eating the food, he tears off out of the kitchen as if I had set off a bomb!

He eventually slinks back in to continue eating but very cautiously looking around for anymore danger! What a weirdo!

No I've not had too much inside time ....despite what this attached photo " may " indicate or what @Lynn49 may comment on later.
It was just that my very last fish died a couple weeks ago and I no longer wanted to do the whole tank cleaning/care thing that is required so I've gone " water-less! " and had some pandemic fun along the way.

( btw, I had snapped that pic of my dearly departed fish because I wanted to find out what he was and NEVER ever buy that kind again ) Him and his band of no goods ( also the same species ) murdered any other fish I had tried to introduce to the tank.
