    Happy Canada Day!
I went to bed early last night and woke up after 5 this morning. I am ready to get up. Thinking of grabbing a coffee and head to the waterfront.

Happy canada day everyone -love this country .

Angela way to go on the wins and all of your savings ,it amazes me how your coupon usage is so great ,do you trade for a lot of coupon or print some or find most of them ,just curious??

Today is a relax day for hubby and i ,other than hanging one load of laundry.I called a friend who is 73 last night(a fellow co-worker from i worked with her for 13 years ) ,she is all alone (no kids ) only her and her cat .We chatted for an hour and a half on the phone about life with the pandemic ,she was thrilled to have a perm done .I think she enjoyed the chat and she said i am willing to sit on a patio and have a meal with you ,so may look into that .

Hubby's birthday is this month ,wow july already .Maybe will eat on a patio at one of our favourite restaurants near his birthday ,we will see.

Happy Canada day everyone. I went for a long walk and like coupon girl should have headed out earlier. Dinner is homemade burgers and fries. Maybe do some laundry. It’s so hot it will like dry in an hour. Or maybe just sit on the deck and rad a book until I melt.

    Happy Canada Day!

Today we are spending the day with our young children. No Canada Day festivities, but the fireworks are supposed to be sent higher this year so that we can watch them from our yard. Better for social distancing.

This holiday on a Wednesday is really throwing me off, I keep feeling like it is the weekend and I am not getting my weekend stuff done. Multiple times today I have thought don't forgot to do your meal prepping, hang I didn't plan my meal prepping. No I did not I do my meal prep planning and on Thursday and Fridays so I have not started on this week's plan yet.

Mom is not feeling well and I am on day 2 of this headache, woke up with it again. I forced myself to spend an hour in the basement. Mom tidied up so I could access the washer and dryer and I ran a random load of stuff we had found well we were cleaning, a table cloth, some reusable bags and a couple random tops.

Then I emptied and cleaned all of the cake stuff we had in the bin and laid it out so Mom could take photos and send them to her friend. I have asked Mom that her friend picks and chooses as we going vs waiting until the end as we do not have room to keep storing all of this stuff until we find everything.

Then I took some me time to read my book and take a nice relaxing shower.

I ended up working a bit today as they did not mark today as a Holiday on chat so it shows our chat line is open and someone messaged and no one else was responding. I think i might ask my boss if I can all of or part of Friday off without using my vacation time, sometimes I can trade off my overtime for a few hours off without using my vacation time.

I think I am going to do some planning tonight, lay out some stuff we need to do, some projects we need to work on and some thing we need to buy for around the house so I can budget accordingly. I think I have come up with a new way to do my planning. I really need to start putting my own mental health first and take the time to organize and plan things so I do not just spin out and get overwhelmed.

We really need to move forward with the basement as now that we have started to move stuff around my OCDs are kicking in. I admit my OCDs are not always logical but now that stuff is being moved around and put in other areas I feel like our whole basement is now dirty. We need to get this done so I can just clean it from top to bottom as right now when I go down there I feel like my skin crawls and all I want to do is shower.

Not that I like to throw anything out but I am hoping soon we get into things that can just leave the house, they cannot be donated or sold they just need to go. Weirdly, the more we work on the basement the more I feel like there is just stuff everywhere and I am starting to feel like the stuff is taking over.

Alright time to make dinner, have a great night everyone
