What's For Dinner?

Looking forward to this beautiful day ahead!! Have some errands to run this morning but if I have enough time hoping to make a bunch of salads this afternoon (potato, coleslaw, macaroni) enough for a couple of days to enjoy with bbq's today & tomorrow, etc..also hoping to make no knead dinner rolls & a butterscotch/cream cheese no bake dessert

We need to go grocery shopping today, we are going to Costco so think we will grab a Rotisserie Chicken and we have some leftover potatoes we can fry up and hopefully I find some lettuce and can make a Salad.

Has anyone else noticed how expensive lettuce is? Hoping Costco has stock and there price has not gone up.

We did a surprise visit to my mothers retirement home on her birthday yesterday and brought her back to my house where she able to meet her great grand son for the first time. Almost all my other family were also there for the visit so we just ordered pizza and picked up Dairy Queen ice cream cakes. She said she could of not asked for a better birthday

We are going up north today until tomorrow night so we will just have easy bbq items like burgs and sausages.

Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, fried onions and gravy. Coffee Cake and Ice Cream for dessert.

In the middle of making up a couple of protein mains ( the gang can make their own sides or salads to go with )
No one's been terribly hungry for a sit down hot meal these days....but I will not complain about the heat because, you know....the white stuff that starts with " S " will be here before we know it and I must save my ranting energy for that.
Anyhow, a whole chicken is roasting in the Air Fryer and 3 large-ish steaks are slow cooking in the cast iron pan with mushrooms and onions.

We went shopping yesterday and I bought Chicken Breast to make Shredded BBQ Chicken in the Crockpot, we put this on earlier today.

So we will have Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches and we have leftover Potatoes we need to use up so we will fry those in some Butter and seasoning and maybe just maybe make a Salad to go with it
