The sun is shining so hopefully the laundry I hung out to dry does so quickly.
Put away 2 loads of laundry and have a load of towels in the dry er. Will make sure to fold and put away this afternoon.

Bed is made and packing has started. Also have to back youngest DS so he is ready to go to work from Grandma's.

Posted 3 things for sale. This will be the cottage fund. We will use toward lease fees if we purchase or toward balance to decrease interest payments as we pay off. We are still waiting on home equity credit approval.

I also have a meeting with a mortgage specialist this afternoon to discuss options.

Does anyone have a good way to ripen supermarket peaches? I don't expect them to end up comparable to tree-ripened, but I have yet to find a way to get them ripe and flavorful enough to be anywhere near consistently enjoyable.

hi all. i am totally looking forward to this weekend. totally.
i have a bunch of stuff to get done around the house. a couple of large branches t take care of from the storm yesterday

sticking close to home , shopping in my small town.
I do have a amazon order to do ... - airmiles bonus thing. and i need furnac filters. i think i am going to do 3 of the airmiles promos... i jut cant see getting 5 in.

i have a couple of things listed on the buy and sell spots. nothing is selling ugh.

any hoo . making perogies for me and the youngest. hubby is getting the last of the frozen pizza.

so odd when to iga to purchase the bonduelle salad x2 ceasar only to have the free product already deceived to not have the 1$ off coupon bonduelle...well they dont have the free product of babybel cheese niut and raisins wow....and the date on bonduelle salad are hard to find only noticed at home the salads I bought at 5$!!! are date august 27...wow not impressed

Today we took ashlyn to my neices house .We treated her boys to mcdonalds along with ashlyn for lunch .My neice is staying at her sister's house dog /cat watching .
Ashlyn sits on white floral covered kitchen bar seats ,and i said be carefull and rubbed the chair to show her (i didnt want her to spill anything) .Big mistake as the cat sits on the kitchen chairs i was told later.

Then we went out to the pool and watched the kids swim a bit an hour after lunch ,my eye swelled up and went red and swollen (i am allergic to cats/dogs )I went to the washroom and looked at my bloodshot eye ,man so sore i put drops in and took an allergy pill is now 7 hours later and still a bit sore -no redness ,swelling is down .I took advil for the inflammation .Man allergies are so hard -i must be diligent next time i am in a home where someone owns a cat ,or just stay outside .

Had a nice day cycling with friends, 2 hours on my bike I am sure I will feel it Saturday. Then one of my favourite colleagues ok really my favourite colleague came for dinner. It was so nice to catch up. We have tried to meet up monthly since the restrictions lifted. Older son cooked for us then we sat on the deck and talked until it was time to put her on a GO train home. Hopefully we can do it again in September. Tomorrow is the younger sons 17th birthday. My brother and SIL are coming for dinner and to spend the night. So excited to see them.

Good Morning Everyone,
Two nights in a row I did not have to work and it was amazing, although I am still exhausted, it is now my state of being. Although I have about of hour of work I need to get done today, Dad sent me a couple of things after I had left the office last night I will clear off my plate. I also need to place a PO turns out a staff member asked me to order the wrong product last week so now I need to order the right now grrrr.

Friday was insane for me, we had a printer that keeps jamming so I was trying to fix that and then we have a computer that is not my friend, this things just does not run correctly. I finally gave up so I ended up moving computers and workstations around. I also decided since I was doing this that I wanted to set myself up with double monitors so I did that. The manager I am working with right now kept laughing at me but hey keep me in your branch over a month and things like this will happen.

Part of me has so much I want to get done today, the other part of me is like let's do nothing. But my house really needs some attention. Although I am hopeful, my new trainee I think will be the one to take over, only issue is an internal transfer so we need to replace him so he can move into the role I am covering. But, I am hopeful this means I can step back a little bit and get back into a routine that is not just work. I know if I can get back into a routine I can start to know a few things off the to do list.

Ok, think I am going to tackle the work stuff get that done and see where the day takes me.

afternoon all.
hubby ended up called a couple of tree guys. hopefully we can get the rather large branch out of the tree...

i need to figure out food. sigh. my teeth are still tender from the dental work on monday, so its making food ... interesting. i may need to go back to the dentist. .. sigh

Today -i went to 3 stores first shoppers -great deal on ladies dove deodorant 2.77-1.00 cpn=1.77 i got 5
Plus got my first free items trail mix 2/4.00 on sale minus 2.00 manager sticker on each one =free expires in 2 days -only thing the cranberries are too sugary so i picked them out .

Then canadian tire for a hose attachment plus garbage bags on sale 3.49 for 50 -mind you they are not the best but we dont have a heavy bag anyway with just 2 of us .Oh and i price matched o"keeffs hand cream for 6.97 to giant tiger -may gift that in the fall or keep for me .

Then into winners a large hand soap marked down 4.00 as its missing the pump a freezer animal for back to school lunches 2.50 and a new pillow for our bed 12.99-$3.38 gift card i had for awhile .

I had a personal offer of NN butter for 1.99 and Miss Vickie’s for 1.99, limit 2 so I went to SDM Only for this and left.
I really want to focus on using what we have but am also concerned we are going to another lockdown and I am not looking forward to standing in grocery store lines in December. So the plan for September is eat what we have on hand and then evaluate if stocking up is in order.

I might go to value village to see of they have some fall coat with father senior 30% discount... might take a 4 x because we cannot try anything with covid...right now I have a jean coat
Might go shopping for 2 outdoors usaged chairs too
Might buy a cheap watche too because the one I had ( free with subscribtion magazine) died and no I am not paying 10$ battery on a cheap free plastic and resine watche lol

Movie night and snacking kind of evening for me

Good Evening Everyone,
Got my work done in less than an hour so I am happy, I mean I still have more to work on but it isn't urgent and doesn't need to be done this weekend.

Laundry is done, wash, dryer and folded, just need to put away which I will do when I go to bed.

Made homemade pizza for dinner, also used up some lettuce that was on it's last legs to make a salad.

I decided I need some me time so we are binge watching some Netflix and I am working on a Crochet project. I could not find the yarn I needed for the first project I wanted to do (I know it is here somewhere but didn't have it in me to search for it) so instead I am working on a Christmas project. It is called Santa's Jacket, it is actually working up quickly which is nice. I have to follow a pattern but it is not overly difficult which is exactly what I was looking for.

Hoping to get a good night sleep tonight and hopefully have some ambition tomorrow and will try to have a meal prep day.

I just ordered 2 black dresses for me from the gap they have a good sale 40% plus and extra 10% plus joggers for the winter from old navy -we will see how the dresses fit or else they will go back ,hopefully not clingy.They are short sleeve for next summer .I really like dresses and skirts just hard to find some that fit nice in size l or xl .

It sure beats going to the mall ,i mean i may go to return but i am in and out .

Good Morning Everyone,
I have taken out a few things to meal prep today, I am trying to keep it simple and quick as I do not have a lot of ambition today.

I did not sleep well, not only is work insane right now but there are some personal things going on that have me freaking out on the inside. I am not sure why but it all hit me last night and sleep was just not happening, I could not turn my brain off. Through everything going on, I feel like I have been holding up well, my anxiety was been under control, no "attacks" but last night it all just hit me, I did not have an "attack" but it was right there, I could feel it. I woke up this morning with that constant feeling that something is wrong.

Part of me just wants to hide in bed today and pretend the world does not exist but that is not an option. So instead I am going to try to find my ambition and get some meal prep done.

OK, deep breathe, none of this is going to change today, so it is time to try and push past and tackle this day head on.
