Good morning fellow Canucks!
Argo, I know how annoying it is to shop on-line. I tried to do that at Christmas. I am the type of shopper that has to browse around the store until something jumps out at me. With on-line shopping I have to have something in mind in order to make a purchase. Needless to say, I gave out a lot of gift cards last Christmas.
Have a great day folks!

My how different our lives could have been......if only.
Eddie Cochran, the man behind “Summertime Blues” and “C’mon Everybody,” was killed on April 17, 1960 when the taxi carrying him from a show in Bristol, England, crashed en route to the airport in London, where he was to catch a flight back home to the United States.

O.K. ladies here's some insight into how guy's brains work
or don't, depending on your point of view.
Paul Short and his wife owned a little motorcycle repair shop
in the poor end of town.
I had no money so I helped a bit around the shop to keep
my bike at the time rolling.
Plus his wife was beautiful and I got to look at her.
They had two daughters, also very pretty, Sherri and Brenda.
Sherri I saw as the center fold in Easy Riders years later.
Brenda was younger, I saw her one afternoon sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus.
I offered to give her a ride to work but she had a skirt on so apparently
you can't ride motorcycles with skirts on.....who knew?
So I sat with Brenda until the bus came and liked her immensely.
Then I promptly forgot her for the next 35 years.
Tonight for the first time since that afternoon I thought, "I wonder what happened to Brenda?"
Yep.

TGIF, Q sters,
Are you ready for a 3H weekend, I know I am.
Tonight is game 2 of the Habs & Jets. Scheifele received a 4 game suspension for the hit to Evans. As far as I'm concerned, you might as well have told him to go stand in the corner for a time out. Somehow I don't see that as a deterrent to not doing that again. I was thinking more along the lines of a suspension equal to the amount of time that Evans can't play & a $1,000,000 fine.
Have a great day & stay safe.NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.

Three doors down (house, not band) is having some exterior patio work done. There are three workers and I believe each person brought their own playlist and took turns with their preferred musical selections. There was a brief interlude between each song - as if one audio source was turned off and another turned on - and there was certainly no rhyme nor reason in the resultant mix.
Eclectic doesn't begin to describe it but in the main, quite enjoyable - until the 3 hours of EDM blasted the neighbourhood.
To be fair, the EDM duration was likely closer to 15 minutes, it just seemed like 3 hours. So when that ended and I heard the first strains of Frank Sinatra's Fly Me to the Moon I smiled because I knew what was coming (I was raised on Frank/Ella/Duke et al). I was still actively listening (meaning singing along) when that ended and Johnny Cash's Burning Ring of Fire followed.
I don't know why this particular trio caught my attention, but I thought it quite the three song set!
Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.
