The interview went well, but unfortunately the job is not what I hoped it’d be. I’m better off substitute teaching. It’s unfortunate that they gave me such short notice did the interview. I had to take today off work in order to interview with them this morning.

I went for an evening walk at 7.00 p.m ,i need to start walking again .I did 18 minutes not a lot but start ,my one knee was a little sore .I found 2 beer cans .As i walked i noticed some cars that go down an incline dont stop fully at one 3 way stop, some house had a tent in back yard and i could smell a whif of pot as i walked by.I said hi to a lovely couple that sits in their garage a lot .

Now i just had a refreshing bath with my lavender soap and body butter.I will put lavender oil perfume on now as i love the smell of lavender .

Oh and i just ordered a 50.00 gas card "petro" and a $25.00 winners gift card from my credit card points .The gift cards were 20% off in points.

So far, our equal billing plan amount is staying at $101 per month with Enbridge Gas. I will find out in Nov if it trends upwards.

Did they drop the entire tree in one fell swoop or did they take it down by segments?

Yay for Friday. It certainly feels like fall tonight but we have a fire table on the deck so I am still enjoying my outdoor space. I am not sure my plans for Saturday. It too windy to paddle and starting to get to cold so I think it will be laundry and groceries and then hope Sunday is a better day.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up with a headache, hoping this will ease off as I get my day going. First things first going to enjoy a nice cup of tea and some allergy meds, my allergies are insane right now, I looked like I was crying when I woke up this morning my eyes are so bad and the congestion is real LOL.

Yesterday after work I ran in RCSS and got a few things:
    2 x Strawberries
    1 x Milk
    3 x Salted Butter
    3 x Unsalted Butter
    2 x Sour Cream
    1 x Parmesan
    2 x White Kidney Beans

Also picked up a package of Ground Chicken through Flash Food well I was there for $3.50 as I want to make Chili.

I still have some other shopping I will need to get done, I thought about going today but with this headache just not feeling it. So I will focus on the kitchen today instead. Getting things prepped and ready for the week to come. Plus I wouldn't mind getting some baking in.

I still need to work on my meal plan, I am thinking maybe some crock pot meals. I am trying to find recipes that do not have Cream of something soup as we are not fans. So far I am thinking:
    Ground Chicken Chili
    Slow Cooker Beef Tips
Chicken and Potatoes with Garlic & Parmesan

Time to get going, lots I want to get done today.

    Have a great Saturday everyone

Been working on ingredient prep and trying to clean up the fridge. To use up a few things in the fridge I am going to make the following for dinner:

Steak, Mashed Potato Bake (I have some leftover mashed potatoes to use), Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions (I have some mushrooms that need to be used), Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts (I have a part bag in the freezer) and as I type this think I will also make a Caesar Salad just sounds good.

Time to finish up my ingredient prep.

Thoughts of focaccia did not result in making the flatbread, but I did make a sheet pan of roasted potatoes this afternoon to use up the potatoes left in the open bag. Warm aroma during the rainfall (sky opened up soon after I put the pan into the oven)! Washed the dishes and swabbed the vinyl flooring during the roasting time. Mom went out to get some groceries. The one remaining good lemon-after juicing one half, I zested the exterior plus the other half and froze the zest. Juiced the other half and froze juice for future baking or cooking use. Scent of lemon was so welcome in the kitchen!

I popped a big bowl of popcorn and added melted butter. That was breakfast, after two cups of sweetened decaf Earl Grey tea with milk. The colder outside temperature is making me crave tea again.

Glad I went through the consignment stores' listings of furniture. Most of the lamps of interest (to me) have been sold but I did see some small dishes of interest and one floor lamp. Wish I could have been at the sidewalk sale today but no funds...maybe next week.

Have a couple of loads of laundry going now (did most of laundry yesterday) and I'm surfing for deals on gift cards and clothing.

Finished the remaining episodes of Sachie's Kitchen and I want her saucepans with those big handles on the lids! Really enjoyed her various trips around Japan to explore how foods are prepared or made plus to experience different dishes. The bento box lunches for the trains have specific criteria-that was fun to hear. The Ichiban factory visit to their bento box production line was a rare sight!

Bro claims he has not watched Prime Video for a week, so I guess now is the ideal time to unregister the tv as a device for Prime Video, ahead of the trial cancellation next week. I want to catch up on the Equalizer (saw only 3 episodes this year on Sundays) so that I'm ready for season 2. I'd like to watch the Cinderella movie too. Some shows I'll have to pass on but I got a general idea of what content is on streaming service. The trial definitely made September seem special!

Cannot believe it's almost suppertime! Where does the time go today?

    Good Evening Everyone,
Change in plans for dinner, I did not realize how late it was when we ate lunch so we were not hungry for a large meal. Instead I pulled a package of Cooked Ground Beef from the freezer, sauteed up some mushrooms & red peppers, added some of the pasta sauce I had simmering away all day in slow cooker and added the leftover pasta from the fridge. Good Quick and Easy Dinner.

Not sure why but it seems like we have a lot of random leftovers and various things to use up. Tonight I used leftover pasta, a pepper with a soft spot, mushrooms that need to be used. Tomorrow night's dinner will use the leftover mashed potatoes, more of the mushrooms and an open bag of Brussel Sprouts from the freezer.

Got most of my ingredient prep done today, the only thing I did not get done was my Ground Chicken & Sweet Potato Chili and Cornbread I was going to make a quick dinner this week. Might make this tomorrow or maybe leave it and make it for Monday's night dinner as I will be working from home Monday.

I kept up with the dishes as I did my prep and cooking so the kitchen is clean.

Think I might try to do some baking tomorrow. Being in the kitchen is my happy place and helps me to escape everything else I need to get done.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday
