Has anyone used the Zehrs guarantee on trees, shrubs, rose bushes and perennials? If I purchase now and plant into beds and don't catch, can I get a refund in the fall or credit? When would I return it?

    thanks

I am very late seeing this post, but thought I'd reply, anyway. The little garlic seeds are called bulbils, and they can definitely be planted. Depending on the variety of garlic, bulbils can be the size of a grain of rice or a marble. They can take 2-3 years of successive planting to reach the size of a regular garlic bulb (again, depending on the variety). It takes patience, but is a great way to grow unusual/rare varieties (paying to have bulbs shipped can be very expensive) and growing garlic from bulbils can help keep disease/fungus out of the garlic plot.

Here is a good article about how to grow bulbils. It's how I learned.

@walkonby - I think I fixed it (I hope the pictures show up for others). I don't have a lot of experience growing flowers, so was delighted when these came up and put on such a show. So ruffled and billowy!

Hello! Thank you, @walkonby, for that bleeding heart photo…I sure hope it survives the transplant from our DD’s garden to ours!

Hubby and I bought these shoots from our horticultural society, and for the life of me, I can’t remember what they are! The pic was of tall, spiked flowers…delphinium? Lupin?
Id love someone to identify it for us……!

    Happy gardening!

Rats….can’t make the pic show up.
