After a super long week for Dh and myself I treated him to a new pair of shoes. He’s had a rough go at work lately and he’s always putting me first so today I treat him to any pair he wanted as a surprise after work. He was beyond surprised and incredibly happy.

Good Morning Everyone,
I am having one of those days where I thought I slept super well but I woke up groggy and tired so lacking some ambition today.
Although I just took a shower and as I was getting ready I felt it, there is something going on in the sinuses, I can feel so will watch that. Hopefully, I caught it early enough I can ward off a full on sinus infection.
My plan for today had been to spend some time in the kitchen but I have no gotten there yet. Although I have spent some time on Pinterest and found some interesting recipes to try, also found some side dish options, anyone else feel like the sides are harder than the main some nights? I feel like we fall into ruts and it is like do we really want rice again, but we just had fries, might just be us.
Need to figure out dinner for tonight, last night we did homemade burgers with burger sauce (my newest obsession) with oven fries poutine. Tonight I am not sure yet, maybe chicken something.
Happy Sunday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

Drove to the Bay of Fundy today, but it was so foggy we could not see it, but since it’s only a 15 minute drive we will go back another day. I splurged and bought a piece of artwork from a local artist. I am not sure where I will hang it but 1st I must frame it.
pits been super hot and humid with rain so not much was accomplished here. Monday is more of the same so I may spend the day with a book.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Thanks everyone. We weren't able to find too many deals at 1 store but it has been fun hunting for clearance stuffs. We stopped at another Walmart and I scored a summer cotton dress $3, a blazer jacket with adjustable sleeves reg. $26.98, for $5, hello kitty shirt for my daughter $3. The prices online from Walmart dot com are higher than in store. At a different Kohls we got a pair of girls shorts marked down to $4.20 and additional 30% off. At Target, we got 2 pairs of kids sneakers reg. $19.99 clearance $13.99. Walmart online order only a pair of crocs baya clogs $80 for $29.99 and they were delivered in 2 days. I removed all the decorations that came with the crocs and gave to my kids.

Well done on your deals shopping finds, @Purdee !
Random Canon photo paper deal find: The Source's Clearance listings includes 4 different photo paper pks under $10 each. Catch is seeing if stores near you actually have stock. The 100 count 4x6 paper is 9.96!!! Staples wants 31 and change for a 50ct package that has to be ordered unless another store has the product. Pixma printer users, unite on the deals...Last edited by Ciel21; Fri, Jul 11th, 2025 at 11:21 PM.

Grocery store hours may be shorter than usual tomorrow, likely with 5 or 6pm closings, for provinces with public holidays. Libraries are closed. There may be transit changes or reduced hours.
