Found a satchel of abandoned biscuits, box KD dinner, pair of gloves, and touque on the street. I ate a few biscuits and donated the rest to the Food Bank (where they probably came from, in the first place!)

Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday was a good day but I had to laugh literally as my boss logs into my performance review (it was online) someone starts using an air horn which is going off every 30 seconds for about the first 5 minutes of our meeting and even with the windows closed it was so loud. I did get quite a bit done yesterday but there was a policy I really wanted to get out for approval and I did not even open the file. But it does look like *knock on wood* next week might not be completely insane so there is hope.

I woke up this morning not feeling bad and was thinking about all the things I needed to get done and then it all ended. There were a few little things that started to rub me the wrong way and I will be completely honest, my first reaction was okay, fine, I am doing nothing today. But I decided to let it go, be an adult and get to work.

The bathroom has been cleaned including the bathtub but not the floor. I had planned to do the floor until I realized the swiffer was not upstairs. I will have to find it and take it up later. The dishwasher and drying rack have been emptied and shocking, there are no dishes to go in the dishwasher or to be washed, good morning. I also did some general tidying up as there was a bunch of recycling I rinsed last night and left on the counter to dry.

Last night for Dinner I just made Pasta with Meat Sauce and Cheesy Garlic Naan. Tonight's dinner is a mystery although I am thinking maybe Dumplings as I really wanted dumplings last night but by the time I got out of my meetings it was too late to make the rice since it needs to cool.

Let's see what else I can knock out before this wave of ambitions leaves me.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Dinner tonight will be dumplings, love the Costco Dumplings, I am sure many will tell me they are not authentic but we like them and the bags last forever. On the side we will be making Homemade Chicken Fried Rice, the rice is cooling on a cookie sheet and chicken is marinating in the fridge.

I think I will spend some time tonight trying to meal plan a bit. I think I am overthinking it. Last weekend I want dumplings but talked myself out of them because I thought oh that will be a good weeknight meal, but I did not prep the rice and never found a night to make the rice ahead of time. I also do not want to get too confident, that I got it this week, it does look like it will be a mostly remote week which I need but A) we know that can change at the drop of a hat and B) these are usually the weeks where I am like got it and then I fail so hard.

I have a tub of Ricotta and quite a few Lemons so I am thinking some Lemon Ricotta Muffins, I have not made these in awhile so they will be a nice change. Also want to plan some snacks and lunch options. Would I be jinxing myself if I wrote a to-do list, it has been so long since I wrote one for stuff around the house or prepping. I miss my lists but I am also trying to be more go with the flow as I have become so focused on what I do not get done vs what I did get done and I know mentally it is not good. Will having it on paper help or hurt, hmmm guess we will see.

Well let's see where the night takes me.

Ceil -i am not getting bell fibe ,they just needed to update my wiring from the old copper to this new bell fibe wiring .I may get it in the future who knows .

My home phone was crackling and i love to talk on my phone so i called them to complain ,but my internet will be better he said.

My mom and I spent about 5 hours shopping and driving today. She is doing flowers for my brother’s wedding so we needed to drive to the closest Micheal’s. I score some great decor for the house at both Micheal’s and Homesense. Everything is on clearance. I framed the watercolour I bought last week. I took it with me and the framer helped me choose one of the shelf and frames were on bogo so now I have another frame for the next time I buy a piece of art.

@coupon girl , it seems like alot of these companies are now just concerned with upgrading to new technology and are trying their best to leave the old technology in the past.

Good Morning Everyone,
It was so nice to sleep with the window open last night, it got a little chilly here (although, I was a little surprised to see a neighbour walk by this morning in a winter coat, it wasn't that chilly) and just have the fan on. I was worried as our neighbourhood was a little noisy last night so I thought I was going to need my AC to drown out the noise, but nope the fan was enough.

I went on Pinterest last night and not sure if that was a good or bad idea yet because then I wanted to make everything. The mental list was becoming super long and knew if I made it all we would not eat it all so I needed to step back.

We do have some Bananas and Apples I need to use up but I am not feeling Banana Muffins and I already have some in the freezer so thinking maybe some Oat Cups? I don't know, I am undecided.

Originally my plan for dinner tonight was Ribs with some Mac & Cheese we have in the freezer but Mom did not make BBQ Sauce yesterday which is fine, I will come up the plan b. But it must be something with food because I cannot seem to narrow down options for tonight, I could make:
Steak with Baked Potatoes
Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin (found a recipe that looks amazing)
Pizza (but would need to make sauce)
Baked Tacos (we do have some leftover enchilada sauce I need to use up)
Lemon Pork Chops (Found this recipe and this looks so yummy)
Let's hope Mom has an opinion when she gets up.

I need to prep, I want to prep but I need my brain to calm down a little bit, let's see how this goes.

Boy i am a cleaning machine,cleaned all 3 bathrooms yesterday and today -vacuumed the family and livingroom currently doing the carpeted stairs .It is not always easy having a 2 storey 3 bedroom house as you age.

I asked my dear younger brother over for a visit as i would love to meet his new girlfriend ,this gives me a reason to clean .lol He hasnt called me yet thou.

My son /family got back yesterday and we would love to see the girls .But first they are going to pick up their second car from the in laws (they borrow their car to go up north as they dont own a car)then back to school shopping ,so we will see maybe later-i will call first.

Pretty good day. Excellent weather. Threw a AAA striploin roast into the oven and did my garden chores to come back to a delicious meal of rare steak. Finally got time to eat into my freezer cache.
