    Good Morning Everyone,
Slept in this morning and it was so needed, although for me sleeping in is 7 am LOL.

Got up had some breakfast and took a shower, now it is time to get some stuff done.

I did not get anything done yesterday, I am not sure what is up but after lunch yesterday I got so cold I was shivering and all of a sudden I got so tired but didn't feel sick. It took everything in me to finish my work day and then I was done. I think I might be fighting an infection so happy I picked up the stuff at the pharmacy yesterday, took one last night before bed.

Today I need to focus on the kitchen, the dishwasher needs to be emptied. Even though I wasn't feeling my best I still made sure to leave a Clean Kitchen last night. Then I still need to sort out the groceries from this week and put them in their homes. After that we will see where the day takes us.

    Happy Good Friday Everyone.

I am trying to clean up my kitchen and I need to find a better way to store my fruit but I don't think a fruit bowl will work, is there such a thing as a Fruit Laundry Basket?

I have a 6lb bags of apples plus a few from the last bag, I have a 4lb bag of Mandarins plus a few from the last bag, I have 2lb bag of Lemons plus some from the last bag.

A fruit bowl will just not be big enough.

Piling all that fruit into a single container might not be the best idea as the weight of all the fruit atop the items on the bottom of the basket may degrade the bottom items more quickly.

I use 2 bowls... rather 1 large bowl, and 1 oval wire basket.... I empty both every week

I was at my voting location at 9:15 a.m. Once I was in the actual line to vote it still took well over 20 minutes of waiting and that was with just 6 people in front of me?
There was only a single voting cardboard screen on a table in the school gym. Each person went behind it to mark their ballot but no movement could be made by
anyone else in the line until they marked their ballot, then walked it back and place in the voting box.
Plus the worker doing that final stage where they hand you the ballot was eerily similar to the sloth character from Zootopia ha ha

For those of us in line we were wondering what would happen on election night? Hope they'll have more than 1 screen booth set up to work with or faster
    volunteers. Just seemed so inefficient.

I guess Elections Canada has a few kinks to work out. It is good though to see so many people voting.

Site is loading so slowly for me. A speed test indicates my connection is fast but it does not seem so.

    Good Morning Everyone,
We had Easter Dinner with Dad and Step Mom last night. I took a crustless Strawberry Pie and bro new gf brought a Lemon Meringue and Apple Crumble Pie. Step Mom made Ham, Scallop Potatoes, Carrots and Vegetarian Pasta with Orzo, Boursin, Tomatoes, some sort of beans, oh and of course Bean Salad, I do not think we have a get together without Bean Salad.

Dad went to vote yesterday said he stood in line for just over an hour. Sis also went said she was just under an hour and got lucky her poll and letter were called so she got to get out of line and go in. In my area people were saying on Facebook the wait was about 2.5 Hours they had people outside warning those in like it was a 2+ hour wait.

I got a few things done before I headed to Dad's yesterday, did not get a much as I would have liked as I was still not feeling my best, I have having quite a bit of pain. Luckily it got better and hoping for a better day today.

I started writing our meal plan yesterday, mainly I wanted to start my prep list. On my meal plan I have started listing ideas for Breakfast, Lunches, Snacks, Dinner and Prep, it just helps me to stay organized. I really need to work on Dinner options today but I am struggling, every option I think of it pasta, French Onion Pasta Bake, Alfredo Pasta Bake, Chicken Parm. Need to come up with more options.

I am thinking tonight will be French Onion Pasta Bake and I think I will pull the Prime Rib I bought at Christmas but we did not cook for dinner tomorrow night.

I keep thinking and feeling like today is Sunday but it is Saturday. I have to say these Friday Holidays throw me off.

Need to find some ambition and either get some cleaning or prep done, I do have quite a bit of produce prep to get done.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

oh my! waiting that long to cast the vote? Why does that seem wrong here in Canada?
As @lizzie bargain said Elections Canada are probably working on fixing the bugs now. I'll bet people have phoned in to complain about the wait times.
In weirder news, my DH and DS both voted at different times on Friday. DH went around 6 p.m. and DS strolled over late getting there by 8:30 p.m.
Neither of them waited at all. In fact when DS came back home so quickly I asked him if the lines were too long and he said " nope, I voted ".
Apparently there was only 1 guy in front and him and he was already heading out as he voted. There were more workers there than anything...ha ha

@SassyAshley your Easter meal with family sounded delicious, so nice when everyone brings a dish or dessert.
We had no dinner planned this year so I " amazoned " some delicious chocolate sets to our DS#1 and to DD and her spouse.
DD also got a daisy themed girly set of items ( candle, travel cup, bracelet, hair scrunchie, pair of soft socks and a small bouquet of crochet flowers) Adorable!
They all arrived at their respective front doors yesterday afternoon. Grateful there were no Porch Pirates looming!

    Happy Saturday everyone.

Yesterday was fabulous. Dh and I had a fantastic day together. Here’s the highlights:

Had a visit with Dave <3
Early morning walk to get coffee
    Pickleball season has officially started
Tended to my garden ( garlic is growing strong!)
Cherry blossom streets in full bloom
Had a charcuterie snack with my mom & dad
