    Good Morning Everyone,
    Happy Friday!!!!!!

Ready for the weekend to be here and get back on track. Whatever was up with the super tired this week, it made me fall off my getting things done roll I was on. So this weekend the plan is to get back on track.

I was up early this morning and dove right into working because I wanted to run out and grab some more notebooks for some new projects I am taking on. I struck out neither Dollarama had any so I will check the ones closer to work next time I am there.

Took Mom's car to get out for a drive since it was cooler this morning, I really need to look into getting her AC fixed then I could just take her car every once in awhile when I work in the office. Right now it is cool enough to drive it in the morning but way too hot by the time I would done. I could probably do it if working locally but doing a 30+ minute drive, nope, I cannot do it.

I did get some house stuff at Dollarama, need more toilet tabs, AAA batteries, Black Pens (for my bullet journals), Parchment Sheets and I found a small glass container I can use for my lunch. I got glass "meal prep" dishes I love but they are so big and it is hard when I just want to heat up meat for a salad so hoping this little container will work on these days.

Now I am working away on my new project. I got an email late last night that our guest is not coming next week since no training was scheduled, they will be working with 2 of us and sounds like neither of us because of the short week had training scheduled. But now my boss has asked that we put all of training stuff in a shared folder so we can standardize our approach. Working on this.

I think as breaks are needed I will just do some general tidying do I can tackle the bigger things over the weekend.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

August already! Sure didn't help that I was convinced it was Saturday morning when I rolled out of bed. Climbing the stairs I was
contemplating making the guys a fresh batch of homemade waffles. As I was visualizing the fresh honeydew and mango I was going
to cut up along with a dish of washed plump blueberries to serve with them, reality smacked me in the head!

Now I don't even want to make them...hrmph! They've got to be fresh and warm or not at all. We'll see how I feel about it tomorrow
when it will actually BE Saturday.

Dh is on holidays this week. We are taking the opportunity to downsize our back deck. We do not use it, so it is a waste of space. It wasn’t built well by the previous owners, so we demolished 2/3 of the deck. Now we are repairing the remainder of the deck. It had sagged over time because they didn’t support the posts with concrete blocks, so we jacked it up to level and replaced posts. We aren’t done yet, but have made good progress.

I sold some small kids clothes for $15 today.

I’ve had bad luck with jugs of milk bought from SDM. My SDM does not have a refrigerated section with doors, like NF and Sobeys. I used souring milk in waffles yesterday and muffins today. I made 3 dozen M&M muffins this afternoon. I bought M&M in resealable bags from SDM for $2 per 345g bag. It was also a bonus points thing. M&Ms are cheaper than chocolate chips, so I’ll keep that in mind for our family.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Was up earlyish, got up at 6 am to enjoy the quiet of the morning. I was tempted to go back to sleep because of how tired I have been but I also know if I went back to sleep, today would be a write off.

I went into this weekend wanting to get so much done but now that we are here and not sure if I feel the same LOL.

Although I did go upstairs and decided since I was there, I would clean the bathroom. Although as always the floor still needs to be done. I was going to do it well I was up there but apparently the swiffer is on the main floor. So next time I go up I will do the floor.

I was going to do the kitchen floor but my tummy decided it was breakfast time so going to eat something first and then knock out the kitchen floor.

I should also head down the basement and sort more clothing. I posted 10 items last week and kind of surprised even the free items are not moving but I know things always slow during the summer.

Alright I should get going before all ambition is lost.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

Time to finally stop and rest!! I was up super early, went to Petsmart for Frankie's worms, then to NF for the items I did not get on Thursday.
That was it for me wrt outside errands. Once home it was a mad dash to get the stuff in the freezer. I had planned on making a layered dip, set the
cream cheese out to soften before I left to shop.

Trouble was I had zero energy now to start making it. So I went on my computer, put in the missing points inquiry for the 1,800 points, relaxed a bit
in the recliner and promptly dozed off. I woke up refreshed, able to get going again. It's all in the fridge waiting for the guys to wake up and make
their " oooh, ahhh " sounds. This way I can enjoy the Blue Jays game now. Oh crap! Heineman got a ball in the mask. He stays in despite having his bell rung.

Well I am busily gearing up for my trip to London/Malta in 10 days. Also decided to apply for a British Passport as my current one is running low on pages. Oh my it cost 14.99 to mail it to England-admittedly the envelope was fairly full but this seemed ridiculous to me. No wonder Canada Post is struggling-too expensive for the average Canadian to use their services.

@lizzie bargain , Mailing is no longer cheaper than using a courier service. We have customers ask us all the time to see if mailing would be cheaper and unless it fits in one of their standard boxes, it is never cheaper or worth the savings. What I mean by that is you might save $1.50 but it will take 4 to 6 days to arrives vs 2 days using a courier. Might as well pay the $1.50 and have it in 2 days,

    Good Morning Everyone,
It has been a very noisey morning around here today. No quiet start to the morning today.

Yesterday I got my b*tt going and I feel like I got quite a bit done but also it felt like so much more. The bathroom has been scrubbed, the floors upstairs have been done, the floors are also done on the main floor.

I did not have to do a pantry tidy because I bought nothing for the pantry this week.

Yesterday afternoon I helped Mom make a double batch of Homemade BBQ Sauce and Pizza Sauce. It is funny we make a copycat Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce but I bought a bottle to bridge the gap and it is okay but I now prefer our homemade version.

Last night for Dinner I did Roasted Potatoes, BBQ Baked Chicken and a Ceasar Salad. Thinking tonight will be homemade pizza.

I need to write my meal plan for the week, we did better last week but still had a couple of nights of quick fixes but those are better than take-out so I will take it. Although this week we might have some take-out, we will see how the week goes. But I budget for this and as long as it is a treat I am not complaining because it used to be the norm for us, multiple nights a week we got take-out.

Think I will start the day by making some muffins and see what other things I can get into today.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

Luckily my passport will be couriered back to me-as who knows if/when there will be another Canada Post strike.
