I had a pleasant surprise yesterday. Went to rcss for the online advertised $1.43/100g mesquite turkey at their deli, when I got their the price was $0.99/100g. Then later at NF I got two bags of kitkat and coffee crisp minis 800g each for $6.94/bag. I even found some new coupons at rcss too - in the dairy section

If anyone is a fan of the PC Blue menu frozen patties, NF has a very frugal deal on atm. ( 4 days only ) JUST be very careful you don't get swindled into thinking it's on ALL the varieties because even though the offer shows pics of 2 different kinds and the wording does not say ONLY good on the Lean Beef patties, this is what they are doing!! The only variety that is $12.00 a package are the Lean Beef Burgers. That sale plus 5,000 points per package is a steal!
Honourable mention to @Frugalbigmama for making your homemade patties!

I had 3 packages in my cart but after I checked over my receipt I saw they had charged me for 4!! That was how I discovered the price difference in them.

The Sirloin, Prime Rib and Angus ones are $17.00 a package. No problem, I got a $51.00 refund for the 3 packages that were scanned in error, then went back to grab 2 more of the Lean Beef ones. The guys love these.

I'm sorry you didn't get your original choices of burgers @walkonby . At my area No Frills, the PC Prime Rib 1.13kg and PC Sirloin 1.13 (the ones pictured in the ad) were $12.00. I stocked up and bought 6 of each for a total of 12 x $12.00 = $144.00 and 12 x 5,000 = 60,000 points ($60.00 value).

I also had a personal 20,000 points WUB $200.00+ so I added 3 cans of PC Medium Ground Coffee (still 930g), on sale for $20.00, that each had a 3,000 points offer attached.

In total, I spent $204.00 on burgers and coffee and earned 89,000 points ($89.00 value) back. With the rising prices on beef and coffee, I was happy to be able to stock up at "reasonable" prices.

@lotsasavings That is wonderful!! The offer picture and words clearly included all the types of burgers but personally I'm not
that heartbroken over only getting the Lean Beef ones as I'm not much of a burger gal, these were strictly bought for my guys.
What a great way for you to combine your total spend offer with the coffee and burger sales with points! Congrats!!

I bought two of the double packs of Ziggy's Sandwich at No Frills and got back 3000 pts/pack ($11 - $3 in points) = $8

But I did not realize I also had an offer for Ziggy if I spent $15 I also got an additional 2200, in total I spent $22 and back pack 8200 pts ($8.20).

Not bad, they come in two seperate packs so we will have lunch meat for 2 weeks both packs have mid to late to September Expiry so doesn't mean back to back weeks of sandwiches.

    good morning!
Funny, we have too many packs of various deli meats in our freezer so I passed on that great Ziggy's double pack offer.
Nice that you also had a personal Ziggy's offer of spend $15.00 get 2200 Sassy!! I love those double dipping opportunities.

I went down a darn Canadian Living summertime salads recipe link a few minutes ago, ended up printing off 3 that look SO
    good to me.
A simple chickpea salad ( with veg I have in the fridge already ), dressing is Greek a yogurt/mayo/grated ginger/garlic number.

Then there was a green peas/Feta salad, all I need is fresh spinach which I was buying anyway today for different recipe.
Last recipe was for a sauteed mushroom Linguine dish. I have lots of shrooms/fresh garlic and Parm cheese in the fridge too.
When making these decisions I try to eliminate recipes if I need to actually make a trip out to get more than 2 ingredients.
Trying to work with what I already have here.

hey...psst! The Blue Jays had their 39th " come from behind win last night!! "

this morning I grabbed 5 of these beauties!

It took some doing to locate them. The meat fellow was young and so clueless BUT very kind.
A customer overheard me asking him about them and she found a bunker with many inside.

Most of them were only 300 grams BUT I grabbed the 5 that weighed 350 grams + .

An $8.00 steak is tough to come by these days and these were nice and thick.
