    Good Morning Everyone,
Last night I felt like if I could just get a good night's sleep I could overcome whatever is going on with Sinuses, that did not happen, I did not sleep. I could not fall asleep, I did not stay asleep and just felt horrible all night.

Good news, I am not feeling better but I am not feeling horrible so I will take it (like I have a choice). But I can admit I am struggling today, focus is hard.

I also need to figure out Christmas like @walkonby , I think I need to write a list and organize myself. I don't have a plan yet but I am kind of thinking since we are all so busy I might just make a bunch of random stuff that can be thrown in the freezer for those days you need a quick meal. We will see.

Last night's dinner was a bit weird, we ate lunch at a normal time because I had a meeting at 1 but neither of us were hungry so around 6:30 I cooked up some pasta and just threw on the part jar of Alfredo we had in the fridge and called it dinner. Not sure why, I could have added chicken but the ideal of chicken just wasn't appealing.

Tonight, I am thinking dumplings, well I was in the kitchen making a honey and lemon I threw some rice in the oven so it can cook and cool before dinner.

I am counting down until 4 pm when I can call it the weekend.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

Rescued 2x 500mL cartons of milk from my Shell station.

Tore through the seat of my jeans. Alas, they were three-years old, so probably got my money's worth out of them. I found them on Boxing sale at Old Navy for only $10 or $15 dollars. I might try to re-patch them, if I can find any material.

An at home day for me... The wind is really picking up out there so the snow is blowing now. I don't really need anything at the stores.

Chopped up my cherry tomatoes and cooking them up now with garlic etc. Have pasta cooking. Going to add a whipped cheese and make something good I hope!
Was thinking Chinese or Fish and chips for dinner but this will be good and now don't have to go out or spend more $.

Found a 3.5kg can of carrots and a bag of cans abandoned by a bum on the street. Got 4x 540mL cans of beans, a mac & cheese bag, and some tuna and crackers. Also picked up a throw blanket. I'll wash it and use it to block drafts at the bottom of my door.

@cath007 I know just how you are feeling right now and I’m so sorry. It’s such a shock to our system and routine to not have our furbabies. We went from having a VERY strict schedule for Harley with his diabetes to what felt like hitting a brick wall and a standstill. It was so hard and it took some time for me to get used to the new normal of not having those routines.

For me the sadness of the loss of Harley hasn’t gone away even after 4.5 years. I miss him every day, I always think of him and we always talk about him. I have some bad days still. For me the pain doesn’t go away however each day gets a little bit easier to move forward. I’m obviously able to function in day to day activities but I’m still missing him tremendously. Everyone grieves differently and for a different amount of time so please give yourself grace and allow yourself to grieve. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

While you give yourself time please don’t forgetting SC. Please don’t stop posting. It will get a bit easier each day and remember we’re all here for you. Eve wouldn’t want you to shut down. It may not feel like it now but I promise it will become a bit easier. Hugs

I received a significant windfall from my Mum's estate yesterday. I guess my Mum has figured out a way to send we 5 kids an Xmas present from the great beyond. Thanks Mum.

Thank goodness it’s the weekend and I’m off! I’m in desperate need of a few days off. My shoulder is kinda better but still an ongoing issue so I’m looking forward to Monday's physio appointment. The rain is still here so the gym is going to be the only outing most likely.

I never got around to organizing the fridge so I’m definitely going to do that today. I do have a few items I need from Costco but not sure is it’s worth the chaos this time of year. I will be grabbing a few things like lemons and cauliflower and using some FPC’s but that’s it no more grocery shopping for the year. At least that’s the plan.

    Enjoy the weekend everyone

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
UGH, all I want is sleep but whatever I got going on does not mix well with sleep. I slept in 2 hour blocks last night being up for half an hour to and hour in between blocks.

I woke up just after 5 and was going to get up but that was the one time I fell back asleep easily so I slept till almost 8.

Then I vegged out on the couch all morning and looking for options for Christmas, although if I don't start feeling better homemade gifts will be a struggle.

After a lot of thought, I really did not want to go but decided to run to Wal-Mart and grab some Hydrasense, it killed me not to go to Costco because it is such a better deal there but Costco this close to Christmas on Saturday not feeling well, no thank you.

Well I was at Wal-Mart, I also grabbed Lemons (I have been living off Honey & Lemon), Limes, Garlic (forgot to grab at No Frills), Peanuts (For a Christmas recipe), Blistex, Hall, Hydrasense and Eye Drops (Mom has been asking for these lately and I finally remembered). It was 100% a tell me your sick without telling me your sick shop.

Now, not going to lie, I think that used all of my energy so back to the couch I will go.

I am having my same old struggle with Christmas, each time I come up with an idea, I think is it enough and tell myself it isn't but I think Breakfast foods, we will see.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

WalMart was a ZOO!!! I only needed a bottle of Advil Nighttime for DH. He hasn't used these for about 2 years now, but said he's desperate to get some good zonk out sleep.
I went to the CS counter to pay as the lineups were just insanely long, even at the self checkouts.
The cashier gave me some attitude about cashing out with her. I was confused, telling her that at the store closer to my home they tell customers who have 1 or 2 items to go there!
After she handed me the receipt she said " next time you will have to go wait in line " and I replied, " there will not be a next time for me at this store! "
My way of saying don't step on my last freaking Christmas shopping nerve Biotch!!

I never found the Royale coupon too.

I hope they will be more printables coupons in 2026.
At least those are more easy to get.
And that my Maxi and Cie will continue to accept black and white coupons.
    Color ink is too expensive.
Because tears-pads = more people begin to do couponning with the high cost of life and people are greedy and take too much coupons...

    Today's deals:

    -Celebrations mini cookies n cream @ 2,50$ minus 2 500 pc points = free ( others flavors where 5,00$) (BB Jan 26)
    -Hellmann's Mayonnaise 890 ml @5,75$ minus 1,00$ e-mail coupon = 4,75$ ( BB August 8)
-2x Oasis orange juice without pulps 1,5L @2,50$ minus 1,00$ printable ( link in the coupon section still active)= 1,50$ (BB Feb 27)
    -2x Oasis Smooties Orange,bananas,mangos @ 2,50$ minus 1,00$ printable( link in the coupon section still active)= 1,50$ ( BB March 25)
Those bottles at regular price are 5,00$ and up....

I got my annual review of PC Points my total is for 440$ not bad I guess.

We bought yesterday for lunch in Subway website with the B1G1 promo 2 x 12 inchs Chicken Ranchers sandwichs at 20,00$ for 2.

Saved 20$. We cannot afford Subway otherwhise.Too expensive. So we order when Subway have coupons or promo. A treat.

I asked extra vegetables but.....there where not so much....

The promo is on until December 31. Saw an add on tv.

I will have to return to buy some patatoes this week on sale at Maxi and Cie.

Again a bad patatoes situation here ..............
