My day of parking lots.
Found a kilo of cookies in Walmart's.
Found a box of waffles in RCSS's.
Found a Walmart baguette abandoned by a bum on the roadway.Last edited by HermanH; Sun, Feb 22nd, 2026 at 09:09 PM.

Good Morning! Snow and more snow coming down!
A great day to get stuff done around the house after my work day is done! I'm going to go dig in the freezer now to make a plan for dinner.....thinking pierorgies for a side for sure since we have lots and we have a new tub of sour cream that expires on the weekend! Oooohhh! the meatballs I made a few weeks ago will be a perfect match! And the open bag of green beans and a can of corn! A dinner plan!
Off to get this work day out of the way!
Have a great day!Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Tue, Feb 24th, 2026 at 08:53 AM.

(((HUGS))) @cath007 maybe that’s the process with your dad insurance to determine who was at fault and trying to get the facts before the make a decision .

@flemeth
I dont think so...
I am sure the other drivers because he is less than 40 years old so much younger well he dont have thèse forms and tests to fill and do....
This is just because my father is old and slow motion....
I am annoyed......
I wish this incident Nevers happening.....

^^^^ ageism. So the Insurance Company has Father fill out forms as protocol when clearly it's age discrimination against your Father.
Recycle Tuesday here. Bins blocking my driveway......anyone's guess when they come to pick up?? If it's early enough I'll consider
driving over to Value Village. I have a bag to drop off but I'd love to have a peek in their ladies dressy tops section.

Morning. Sunny and clear here now but the snow is suppose to start later today.
Yesterday was a $0 spend day. Today I feel like I need to get out before the snow. Some fresh air and sunshine will do me good.
Enjoying my coffee....The 1st person out of the house at 6:45am this morning made a pot so I had the last cup when I got up at 8:45am.
Think I will empty the fridge out and give it a good clean and then figure out the plan for dinner.
The mushrooms I bought at Food basics 2 weeks ago have been the best ever! I have added them to so many meals and made the best breakfast yesterday- An omelette with the mushrooms and peppers (from freezer) with a slice of Ace cheddar bread toasted and 1/2 an avocado on the side. I will do it again today (no avocado
) and that will use up the last of the mushrooms!
Have a million things I want to get at.....guess I should write out a list.
Have a wonderful day!

@cath007 , **HUGS**, I know it is impossible but at this point there is nothing you can do but go through the process which I know is so hard when you don't have control.
I thought you mentioned recently that your Dad did have to do a test or something for his license recently. This may be why insurance is asking.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Afternoon Everyone,
How is it only Tuesday, I feel like it should be like Thursday LOL.
Woke up super sore and stiff this morning, my lower back feels like it is in a vice and my neck and shoulders are not happy. I was hoping it would work itself out but no such luck.
Yesterday I was in the plant to go over an inventory deep dive with some of out staff. I took the cookies and apple cake
After work I went to Costco, didn't need a lot mainly Mom's Glucosamine was on sale and we need cheese, I got Ricotta, Cheddar, Mozzarella and Cheese slices. As well since I was there I grabbed Naan, Doritos and Honey.
Then it was off to Dollarama as I needed wrapping paper for a gift, got that plus some Foil Pans I can pack goodies in to take to work so I do not have to worry about getting my containers back and some parchment liners. As well I found some silicone Mini Muffin pans and a regular size one for $5 each. So I grabbed those.
Then off to WalMart because Mom texted me that she needed bandaids, it looks like she had a reaction to the one I use so I grabbed some fabric ones. Also grabbed 3 boxes of Valentines day chocolates that were 50% off, each one was under $5.
Lastly back to Freshco for another 4 Passata, cannot beat $1.25, and I forgot I grabbed the Doritos so I grabbed a bag of Smart Food.
Today became an unexpected work from home day as my branch day got cancelled but I still needed run out as I had an appointment to get my shot, I got that and then ran to No Frills, I should learn never just take one bag into the store because you will buy more. I went in for Sour Cream and Dish Soap I walked out with:
4 x Sour Cream
4 x Dish Soap
1 x Ground Chicken
1 x Lemons
2 x Rosemary and Olive Oil Crackers
2 x Dill and Herb crackers
Well I was at the store I thought of something for dinner, it wasn't something I bought but now I have no clue what I wanted to make. So still need to figure out dinner for tonight.
Now I am back home to work on all the work things.
Happy Tuesday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
