@flemeth:
Do you remember when pming was not working a few years ago for doing trades on Smart Canucks.
We had to do it with giving our e-mail adress.
Or another idea.I still think it would be great to start a pm with our members group chat e-mail adress and take them in note just in case.Last edited by cath007; Tue, Jun 2nd, 2026 at 04:51 PM.

What is the purpose to order some coupons and writhe to compagnies if I dont receive the coupons....
I NEVER received my Royale coupons and my Storck coupons (its been 2 and a half month).....very annoyed.
I am still on the mailing list of Bolthouse carrots who said they did not receive theirs coupons for this year....wow really??...but seriously the hopes are not high.
Where the lost mail go....mystery....Last edited by cath007; Tue, Jun 2nd, 2026 at 04:46 PM.

It's been raining for the last 3 days. Lots of water. I hate rain. You can't just brush it off, like snow.

One nice thing, though. I normally run alongside a ditch, which is usually dry. Today, all the water had accumulated and I could hear all the frogs croaking and calling out to each other. The sound was wonderful, even in the drizzle. It made me wonder, where do the frogs go when there is no water (which is most of the time.)?
Salvaged 18x sandwiches and wraps from my Shell station, along with 12x cheese/pepperoni stick snacks.My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Happy Wednesday! Another day of sunshine! (I am sorry HermanH
)
Enjoying my coffee and dealing with my email requests. Then going to strip my bedding and get that in the washer.
Tidy bedroom and then make bed with fresh clean sheets. I also would like to go kayaking later today.
Dinner tonight should be light so thinking the usual- Chicken and veggies....I will probably pick up a sweet potato in my travels to have 1/2 with it.
Last night I made a burger bowl and it was good but I ate way too much! The leftover ground beef will either be dinner tomorrow night or put in the freezer for another night.
Still need to plant my tomato plant! Today is the day! It is getting so tall it really needs to be put in the ground with the tomato cage.
I also have mulch to put in my front gardens....just collecting cardboard to put down 1st so it kills/stops the weeds. We have a robin and her nest on our front porch so have been trying to not be in her space. Will be fun to watch once the eggs hatch
Have a wonderful day!

Looked over the upcoming sale flyers.....good thing we have meat in the freezer. A few deals on fresh stuff which is good (Pineapple/melon)
I may make it a low low spend week. Buy the fresh stuff and a few bars of cheese (BD $4.98 less $1.50 coupon Food Basics) to keep DS's cheese supply stocked.Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Wed, Jun 3rd, 2026 at 10:21 AM.

@cath007 it happens all the time to me at Walmart. Some of the cashiers are so stupid. As a former head cashier, they need to read the coupon not look at the photo, as there are different products. Contact the manufacturer by email and complain! Coupons are supposed to be convenient to use.

@flemeth that is so wrong. Coupons are to be used whether a product is on sale or not! Contact GT head office via email and the whoever the coupon is for. As a former head cashier, these companies get their money back plus a handling fee from the manufacturer.

I tend to agree with what @barbis9 is saying about coupons. That being said we are always left to feel so sheepish at the counter when an
aggressive cashier gives their expert opinion on a coupon.
@Frugalbigmama I am emotionally invested in your porch pirates! ( lol...the Robin next of eggs! ) That will be fun to see them hatch,
hoping no predators get at the nest.
The rest of the day is mine now. Had yet another delay getting my ride home from the Hospital after my session, but ya know what?
The beautiful sunshine kept me upbeat and very friendly people walking in and out seem to engage in pleasant conversation with me.
Happy Wednesday all!

Laundry done! I cheated and went to the laundromat so I could wash and dry and get my walk in

Topped up the gas tank since it was 165.9 L and the radio said it was increasing and would be around $1.80 L so figured I should put some in since ours is actually cheaper then it has been for a long time.
Made steel oats topped with Greek yogurt and chopped up apple and fresh raspberries. Hit the spot!
I just took a few chicken breasts out of the freezer for dinner.
Now to make the bed

I hope it is safe too....the nest is on the porch light and there is a window near there that our dog would watch out of (bark!) so hopefully the neighbourhood animals are still staying away remembering her wrath! (she was a sweetheart but she sounded mean and angry lol)
