    Good Morning Everyone,
Busy morning already but getting things done.

Was up at 6:30 so I decided to head to Costco because fun fact, Business Centers open at 7 am Monday to Saturday and everything I "needed" the Business Center carries.

I mean only "needed" Chicken Breast, but since I was going I also needed to pick up Cheese Slices and I wanted to grab the Fresh Mozzarella Slices. I have never had the fresh Mozzarella from Costco but we used to buy the Fresh Mozzarella Balls when they would go on sale locally for $1 (WOW that was years ago), I keep seeing recipes and it is all I can think of.

Well I was there I also grabbed
Bacon Bits (on my list to grab as we opened the bag out of the pantry)
Celery (Costco heard the assignment, I did not buy this last week as it was product of US, this week it was product of Canada and so MANY other produce items are product of Canada)
Portobello Mushrooms (I have not seen these at Costco in over a year and I got 5 for what 2 would cost in a grocery store on sale)
That was all I got at Costco

Then I remembered seeing that Farm Boy had Zucchini on Sale and I figure if we are making Portobellos we might as well go all out, I already have Peppers and Red Onions but needed Zucchini so I ran to Farm Boy. I personally do not get the hype of Farm Boy, I had never been in one until earlier this year and I guess they have some interesting stuff but it is so expensive. I did notice unless they just had not put them out yet but this one did not have the huge clearance racks like the one I went to before had. I just grabbed my zucchini and left.

Last stop was Canadian Tire, I needed to get Yard Waste Bags, we have someone coming to clean out back yard this week. I am all for doing things myself to not spend the money but so worth it to not have to spend one of my day off cleaning the backyard not to mention I don't think my allergies this year could handle it. I am pretty sure walking through Costco I looked like I was crying as my eyes were so bad, they were running down my face after 2 allergy pills.

As well I grabbed Mouse Traps, Mom said she saw a mouse last night so got those.

Now, I am home, having a cup of tea and need something to eat and then we will see where else today takes me.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

Morning! Another nice walk by the lake this morning (a different one) .... I am going to have such a hard time walking in the snow I need to soak in this sunshine as much as I can. Thinking I will join the YMCA again in the fall- At least I can walk the track there safely in the winter....and it will get me out of the house on a regular basis during the winter . I really enjoyed it when I worked near by and took a late afternoon lunch there.

Popped in Walmart - picked up 2 sports bras that I was eyeing up a week ago. On clearance for $9 and they fit nice. We saw them at a Walmart Tuesday when we were away but they were only marked down to $11 so I waited hoping my Walmart still had them (thankfully they had them in 2 spots and the one spot was on a bottom rack so people didn't see them!)
No Frills- another 2pk of the lean beef. So now we have 6lbs in the fridge. Burgers/burger bowl either tonight or tomorrow night. We also have BLSL chicken breasts cooked so tonight will be an easy dinner night.

Going to clean up the kitchen and then head out to a local festival in the next town. Not sure what to expect as we have never been but it is free and we know people performing there so should be a good time.

    Have a great Saturday!

    Good Morning Everyone,
A bit of a slow morning here but what are Sunday for LOL.

Although I do have laundry going, I actually did one load yesterday and it must have been awhile since I did laundry (I have no concept of time these days they all feel the same LOL) because we still had a ton of laundry to do so will get it all knocked out today.

A lot I need to get done today but I need to find the ambition, because honestly I just want to sit on the couch but that is not an option.

Good news, we caught our mouse last night, hoping he just had the one because there were no signs of having a mouse this time until we literally saw him but we shall see.

Going to finish my tea and see if that brings me the ambition I need.

    Happy Sunday

    Good Late morning!

Went for my walk. Walked over to the Farmers Market. Same old.
Went to RCSS and GT on the way home. At RCSS they had the feta and parm cheese (on for $4 and I had $1 off coupons) then found baby spinach for $1 at GT so I have ground turkey thawing and will make Spinach and feta meatballs. Will make pasta to go with the guys (so I can use up the jar of sauce in the fridge ) I also picked up a bunch of make-up sponge sets (clearance at GT) for my nieces Christmas box. And a coconut body scrub for $2 for me.

Just had my oatmeal and now will get some things done before I start playing in the kitchen. (ground turkey is thawing)

It is overcast here and chance of showers this afternoon. I may take a break around 3pm and make myself a cold drink and go for a drive to the neighbouring town for a little walk and to check out clearance at SDM.

    Have a great Sunday!

Happy Monday!! Looks like another nice day out so will get out for a walk at the lake at some point today. Looks like a rainy day tomorrow so will have to do walk plan B (in Walmart or RCSS).

Went through my work email after being away last week....Started at 167 emails and now have 35 to deal with so not so bad!

Today's plan- figure out dinner- 1/2 a sweet potato to use up. Will add a protein and green beans so pretty simple to figure out.
Clean out the fridge completely. (pull everything out and give it a good wipe out and then deal/see what needs to be used up)
Do a load of laundry and hang to dry (probably wash the golf clothing today) (bedding tomorrow)
Clean out the back of my vehicle- organize shopping bins/bags (move any bags in the house to the car)

    Have a great Monday!

Busy but still a pretty good work day.
Took a break to clean out the fridge and figure out dinner- We have lots of things to use up. Rice/turkey-spinach-feta meatballs/cabbage/sweet potatoes. At the moment I don't feel like any of it...but at least it is ready if I don't come up with another plan..
Will make a small coleslaw for tomorrow nights dinner in the morning.

It is hot out! I need to get out for a walk so just going to do it but I am hearing that the police are searching for someone on the other side of town...Maybe I should wait a bit!

    What a day.

It started out with rain, so I waited until it slowed to sprinkles. Mid-run, it came down in buckets and I was miserably drenched.

I dropped into my new ethnic grocer. Normally, I buy the $1 discount bags of peppers. There were none to be seen, so I asked the gal if any were being prepared and that I bought them weekly. She said for me to just pick 5 or 6 and she would give me the same price. What a sweetie. The silver-lining in my rain-soaked day.

Also rescued 2x danish from my Shell station.

I do that too @coupon girl . I don't pay the house and auto premium all in one shot for the year
but it goes monthly onto a CC. Why not earn points eh?
I recently redeemed some of my RBC points for a $25.00 amazon.ca GC. I'm loving how fast the
points add up to redeem for groceries too.

Got $6.00 0ff my July 23rd order at Metro using Moi points. Got $10.00 off 2 times at FreshCo
( July 10th and 17th ) I get the best sale prices there rather than spending at Sobeys.
Then today I scored another coupon for 3 cents off my Shell 30L top up, but I had enough to redeem
$10.00 again. I was unsure if the redeem would jeopardize the spend to get the gas coupon so decided
to save it for my next shop.
Bought a case of GORGEOUS Ataulfo mangos, 18 of them for $16.99. DS will be in Mango heaven!
Not sure if anyone is a fan of those Deep 'N Delicious McCain frozen chocolate cakes but the sale was
the cheapest I've seen them. $4.99 + 50 Scene points on each cake.

Morning! Dealt with all the emails sent to me after 630pm last night...grrr

Enjoying my coffee and figuring out my action plan for today. Taking a break at 10 and going for a walk. I need this for me so I am just doing it.

All the dinner leftovers are there for tonight since they were not touched last night....Had fish and a few fries in the air fryer instead. just needed something different.

No shopping today. Going to empty the freezer on the bottom of the fridge and write out everything DS needs to eat when he is back home this weekend for 2 months! Really I just need to pick him up fresh buns and a flat of eggs! and he will eat well. He just needs a reminder of what he can make.
Will see what the upcoming sale flyers have and plan to shop Thursday morning to get it done.

    Enjoy the day!

@Frugalbigmama , iirc the very first time we knew about them was when KFC? had a special where
they included one of those with the family meal. The kids and I thought they were wonderful, soft cake
with creamy icing that wasn't all that sweet.
The prices of them have skyrocketed now. At one time I could get one on a very frugal sale for $2.99
Those days are gone. Many stores are now charging close to $7.00 as their regular price for one....ha ha
